-Salvation is from God's great mercy and His sovereignty

(Romans chapter 8 & 9 ) emphasizes that God, not man is the primary force behind salvation. Both Pagan and Gentiles and religious Jews were all under God's righteous wrath and condemnation (Romans 1&2) None were seeking God (Romans 3).
He would not be unjust to leave us all under condemnation. But in His great love and mercy, He sent His own son to bear the penalty that we deserved.

Salvation brings us into a personal relationship with the living God (Hosea 1:10, 2:1, 23) "No compassion" becomes "compassion " and "Not my people" becomes "my people " It's a moving beautiful picture of the power of God's grace to restore unfaithful people and bring them into a relationship with Him.

Baptism is a powerful symbol of what Jesus did for us. Matt 3:16, we learnt about the time Jesus Himself was baptized before He started His ministry on earth.
If the son of God pursued baptism, so should we.

Jesus told us in (Matt 28:19-20), He want us to continue baptizing and being baptized.

When we're baptized, we're reminded of what Jesus' death on the cross and His payment for our sins. But when we come out of the water, we're reminded tgat three days later Jesus rose from the dead. (2corinth 5:17) tells us that if we're in christ, we're new creations.

Baptism reminds us that old is gone and the new has come!

Getting baptized is important but not because it saves you. The grace of God through faith in Jesus is what saves us.

Baptism is all about telling the world about the change that's already happened inside of you.

Thanks for reading and God bless you richly!
