If we have love, we shouldn't fear, because perfect love cast out fear.
I JOHN 4:18
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
To fear God is to keep his commandments.
ECCLESIASTES 12:13
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
If we fear God, we shouldn't fear our enemies.
PHILIPPIANS 1:28
And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.
If we obey the commandments of God, we'll be made perfect to overcome fear of the enemies.
II TIMOTHY 3:17
That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
We're not agreeing to the things of the world, that's why the world hate us.
JOHN 15:19
If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
No matter the hatred we face in the world, we shouldn't conform, but be renewed.
THE ROMANS 12:2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Though we're not of the world, but we're here in the world, we shouldn't abuse the privilege.
I CORINTHIANS 7:31
And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away.
We only sojourn in the world; we're pilgrims.
I PETER 1:17
And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:
HEBREWS 11:13
These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
The world is full of strife, confusion and evil work.
JAMES 3:16
For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
JAMES 3:15
This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.
II CORINTHIANS 4:4
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
Satan is the one blinding the minds of the unbelievers. We shouldn't give room to him.
The fear of the lord prolong days.
PROVERBS 10:27
The fear of the LORD prolongeth days: but the years of the wicked shall be shortened.
It is the fear of God that will launch us into eternal life.
I TIMOTHY 6:19
Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
We should always look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy set before him, endured the cross.
