This is the teaching of Bro. Eli Soriano of blessed memory and these words I share are the things I learnt from his teaching on the above-mentioned topic.

Mark 6:3 (NIV)
Isn’t this the carpenter? Isn’t this Mary’s son and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas and Simon? Aren’t his sisters here with us?” And they took offense at him.

Jesus Christ was judged not by His teachings sometimes but by His family background. So, He was judged as any normal human being would be judged.

He lived a normal life like everyone and that is why they could refer to Him as "a carpenter" because He took over what His earthly father, Joseph did. He wasn't an ordinary person but He lived an ordinary life.

Hebrews 4:15 (NIV)

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin.

He was an ordinary carpenter who did extraordinary things that is far above human comprehension and most people didn't accept Him because they felt they knew Him.
