Meaning of Murder, according to Google search
The unlawful premeditated killing of one human being to another.
God is not a murderer, but the devil is. The Bible tells us that the devil prowls everywhere, seeking for whom to devour.
1 Peter 5:8 (NIV)
Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
We need to be careful about the things we perceive in our minds and then pin them on God. As humans, we are mostly responsible for our actions. God is love. God is life. God is not a murderer. He is the Father of light in whom there is no variableness.
James 1:17 (NIV)

John 8:44 (NIV)

Using the term Murderer to qualify God is not in any way right. God is the owner of life. He said I will have mercy on whom I choose to have mercy on and compassion on whom I choose to have compassion on. Everything is on His judgement.
Based on the description of the word 'murder' as earlier mentioned. It is considered murder when it is another man taking another man's life unjustly and without the backing of the law. God is not a man and never would be. He has the right to give life and He has the same right to take it.
John 10:17-18 (NIV)
The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again.
No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.”
God is the giver of life and He has many ways by which He can take it and that can include an earthquake. It is not an act of murder but an act of getting back the life which He gave in the first place. He knows our time and our days and He determines whether we have done enough or we still have more years to spend. Remember how He dealt with Sodom and Gomorrah? He said if He could find at least 1 righteous person there, He would hold off on the pending judgement.
Hebrews 9:27 (NIV)
Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment,
Why are we facing judgment? Because He created us for a purpose and we are to give account on how we have spent the life He has given us. Remember the story of the Talents? Why was the servant who hid his talent dealt with? Because he didn't do anything profitable with what he has been entrusted with. Your life is a gift of God to you and what you do with it is your gift back to God. He gave it to us for a reason and can take that life back for any other reason best known to Him. God has the right to appoint anyone's death.
Ecclesiastes 8:8 (NIV)
As no one has power over the wind to contain it, so no one has power over the time of their death. As no one is discharged in time of war, so wickedness will not release those who practice it.
No man has the right to refute when He demands for the life He has given to any man. The life of every living thing is with God.
