- It is not only in the river of Jordan that John the Baptist do baptism
John 3:23 And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.
For the sake of people that are far away from river Jordan, John the Baptist baptise people at another river, he baptise at Aenon too
It is not biblical or visible to say it is only river Jordan you can be baptized
Baptism is for salvation
1 Peter 3:20-21 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
God has recommended water since the life of Noah, God expelled corruption with water back then and the family of Noah was saved
It is not only in the river Jordan or Aenon baptism can be done
Acts 8:36-39 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?
And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.
And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.
Acts 8:27-28 And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship,
Was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet.
