Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Seek God's righteousness, not your own righousness, the righousness of God is different from righteousnessof man

Luke 16:15 And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.

The above verse is a clean indication that there is a great different in doing God's righteousness and doing your own righousness to justify yourself in front of men

Ephesians 6:6 Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;

To have proper interpretation in Bible, you must have the spirit from the Bible itself, all context must be context from the Bible

Some religion interprets doing good work is a waste of time but it's a false teaching and it can never be true, it is true that faith can save us, the thief on the cross was saved cos of the faith.

Mark 15:32 Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him.
