Losing Faith For Fear

I was reading this scripture yesterday. This is what is going on today. The wicked are looking for ways to attack those who are believers in Jesus, those that don't think or act like they do. So, they are enacting laws that will make you choose between your beliefs, and safety.

Regulations that say, for example, don't have church, don't pray for or even get near others, or even your own family - things that go against the Word of God, which tells us to gather together, to preach the good news, and to lay our hands on the sick. If we compromise in compliance, in so doing, we are abandoning and changing our beliefs, and sacrificing them on the altar of fear, safety, comfort and self-preservation.

Once we start abandoning our beliefs for fear, which is the opposite of faith, for God says - the just shall live by faith - then we are on the wrong path. Matthew 7:13-14: You can enter God's Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to Hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.
