What is the faith of the thief on the cross written in Luke 23:42-43? (Part 6 of 7).

One can be a thief and destruction becomes the end for that fellow.

Of a truth destruction is always the destination of those who are not God's children just like thieves, deceitful people etc.
The payment of sin or reward for sin is death and that is exactly was the initial fate of the thief on the cross

But GOD'S gift is eternal life and this was made possible by JESUS CHRIST to the thief in question.
Romans 6:23 (KJV) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Little did the thief know that he would be saved from everlasting fire that day on the cross but a mere conversation got him heavenly ticket.
Luke 23:39-43 (KJV) 39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.
40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?
41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.
42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in Paradise.

His faith was of Grace and mercy.
