Happy afternoon friends of Hive. I extend to you a warm greeting, accompanied by a genuine wish that you are well. In this opportunity, I want to talk to you about the different feelings I experienced and the lessons I learned from this wonderful cactus.
Feliz tarde amigos de Hive. Les extiendo un caluroso saludo, acompañado de un genuino deseo de que se encuentren bien. En esta oportunidad, quiero hablarles sobre los diferentes sentimientos que experimenté y las lecciones que aprendí de este maravilloso cactus.
When I was a child I was very interested in nature but especially in mountains and flowers, however, as I grew up my tastes expanded much more and I began to feel a special connection with cacti. The truth is that I was very curious about this type of plants. At first glance they seem apathetic, I think if they were people they would be categorized as indifferent. Of course, they lack striking colors but they are exceedingly beautiful.
Obviously, whether we see them ugly or beautiful will depend on the taste of each person, however, if you stop to observe them without any prejudice, you will find treasures and very valuable lessons.
Cuando era niña me llamaba mucho la atención la naturaleza pero especialmente las montañas y las flores, sin embargo, cuando fui creciendo mis gustos se ampliaron mucho más y comencé a sentir una conexión especial con los cactus. La verdad es que sentía mucha curiosidad por este tipo de plantas. A primera vista parecen apáticos, creo que si fueran personas los catalagorarían de indiferentes. Claro está, carecen de colores llamativos pero son excesivamente hermosos.
Evidentemente, el que las veamos feas o bonitas dependerá del gusto de cada persona, no obstante, si te detienes a observarlos sin ningún prejuicio, encontrarás tesoros y lecciones muy valiosas.
To begin with, they are strong plants, they grow anywhere and do not need too much attention. This teaches me that it is a warrior plant, capable of enduring many vicissitudes in life.
The integrity that cacti have transmits me firmness and stability. Although such a striking plant is not necessary, if you make the effort to spend some time with it, you will realize that it also displays a sublime tenderness. As I contemplate those little sprouts that are being born, they make me feel great amazement and emotion. To see that a plant like this one is able to grow without practically being cared for by others is very touching.
Para empezar son plantas fuertes, crecen en cualquier sitio y no necesitan demasiada atención. Esto me enseña que es una planta guerrera, capaz de aguantar muchas vicisitudes en la vida.
La entereza que tienen los cactus me transmiten firmeza y estabilidad. A pesar de que no es necesario una planta tan llamativa, si haces el esfuerzo por pasar un tiempo con esta, te percatarás de que también despliega una ternura sublime. Al contemplar esos pequeños retoños que vienen naciendo me hacen sentir gran asombro y emoción. Ver que una planta como esta, es capaz de crecer sin prácticamente ser atendida por otros es muy conmovedor.
In life, many of us will experience moments when we feel that no one cares about us, this reasoning comes because in situations full of affliction we cannot see the whole picture of what is happening to us, however, we must remember at all times that just as the rain is not partial to any plant, so it will be with us. There will always be good people who will reach out to us and help us to continue with a positive attitude.
En la vida, muchos de nosotros viviremos momentos en los que sintamos que no le importamos a nadie, este razonamiento llega porque en situaciones llenas de aflicción no podemos ver el cuadro completo de los que nos está pasando, sin embargo, debemos recordar en todo mi momento que así como la lluvia no se parcializa con ninguna planta así sucederá con nosotros. Siempre habrán buenas personas que nos tenderán la mano y nos ayudarán a continuar con una actitud positiva.
If we do not grow weary, in due time we will see the results of being courageous, firm and decisive. Just as this beautiful plant bears its fruits in due time, we, too, will reap good fruits if we remain strong no matter what others think or say about us.
Undoubtedly, making analogies with nature, especially with cacti brings me many benefits. Nature as a whole is loaded with great teachings that we will only grasp if we take a little time out of our busy lives to contemplate them in detail.
Si no nos cansamos, en su debido momento veremos los resultados de ser valientes, firmes y decididos. Tal como esta hermosa planta da sus frutos en el momento correspondiente, nosotros, también cosecharemos buenos frutos si nos mantenemos fuertes sin importar lo que piensen o digan otros de nosotros.
Sin duda alguna, el hacer analogías con la naturaleza, especialmente con los cactus me reporta muchos beneficios. La naturaleza en su totalidad está cargada de grandes enseñanzas que solo las captaremos si nos tomamos un pequeño tiempo de nuestra atareada vida para contemplarlas detalladamente.
In addition to the value that cacti bring to nature and the ecosystem, we can also listen in silence to everything that this plant transmits to us. I particularly feel that it tells me: "You can be strong no matter if you have many people or not, just be surrounded by the right people and you can overcome any storm. Do not worry if you are not the prettiest, beauty does not depend on what is visible to the naked eye but on the courage and wisdom that you may possess in your heart. Remember that your value is not determined by others, you are valuable if your being is imbued with humility and finally, never give up because storms are temporary.
Además del valor que aportan los cactus a la naturaleza y al ecosistema también podemos escuchar en silencio todo lo que nos transmite está planta. Particularmente yo siento que me dice: "Puedes ser fuerte sin importar si cuentas con muchas personas o no, basta con que estés rodeada de las personas indicadas y podrás vencer cualquier tempestad. No te preocupes si no eres la más bonita, la belleza no depende de lo que salta a simple vista sino de la valentía y sabiduría que puedas poseer en tu corazón. Recuerda que tu valor no le determinan los demás, eres valiosa si tu ser está impregnado de humildad y por último, jamás te rindas porque las tormentas son pasajeras".
There is undoubtedly much we can learn from nature. It really is a great investment to stop and connect with creation. I am determined to keep looking for those wonderful moments where I draw life lessons from beautiful creations that many take for granted. I invite you friends to enjoy cacti and creation in general to the fullest. You will feel a refreshment in your life and you will feel strength to continue living with joy.
Indiscutiblemente es mucho lo que podemos aprender de la naturaleza. Realmente es una gran inversión detenernos y conectarnos con la creación. Estoy resuelta a seguir buscando esos momentos maravillosos en los que extraigo lecciones de vida de hermosas creaciones que muchos dan por sentado. Los invito amigos a que disfruten a plenitud de los cactus y de la creación en general. Sentirán un refrigerio en su vida y sentirán fuerzas para continuar viviendo con alegría.

Those cups also caught my attention, at first glance there are things that are not seen but when we explore nature we find a wealth of teaching, that is the reason why we must take time to connect with it.
