Mammillaria senilis

Mammillaria is one of the largest genera in the Cactaceae family.

Mammillaria is a hardy cactus that can withstand harsh drought conditions.

Mammillaria needs direct sunlight, since in the absence of these, the cactus will stretch out and its development will deteriorate.

You need to be very careful with watering, because at the slightest overflow, Mammillaria dies.
Unfortunately I have had this experience.

I especially like my Mammillaria senilis, as its bright, red and large flowers look very beautiful on an almost snow-white cactus.

Such a huge flowers on mammillaria! I am used to those very small ones.

It is so cute, I've been intrigue on planting this kind of plants that is why I have been planning of planting them this year.
