In this publication I started a series of three posts in which I try to give a vision of what these rules are about, which are the rules that govern the community of reggaejahm, which of course go beyond publishing about reggae music and Caribbean culture, even beyond originality, non-plagiarism and the respect that should prevail on this platform, are rules that are purely human and that transcend - or should transcend - our daily lives.
Let's go with that second rule, in this case it's KEEP IT IRIE.
Keep it IRIE: What does that mean?
Simply by saying the word IRIE we are referring to maintaining positive emotions, feelings and thoughts. And I want to emphasize the word simply, but the truth is that it seems that for many people this staying positive thing is not very good.
How about always being on a positive energy level?, the one that makes us feel happy and grateful for every day of life, every breath, even feeling blessed when we have a lot or when we don't. That possibility that we all have to connect with ourselves and with others in a deep way and with the best of energies, to fill ourselves with positive emotions and to be able to contagiate with this to others, can you visualize a world in which only positive emotions are the ones that prevail?
Well, that's basically what it's all about, vibrating positively...
The Chilean reggae band Gondwana has a song (in Spanish) that refers to that term and its meaning. I leave the video below, plus the lyrics (Spanish and English) later.

You do, if you post on Steem. But there's no much point in collecting those tokens as they have no use case anymore, due to the community moving over to HIVE.
