Lol, the flavor depends all on the type of chilies you use, potentially some salt/sugar and optional additional ingredients. Most people here just mass plant one generic kind of pepper and use that to make hot sauce. These are usually the ones that are sold in stores and then used by restaurants, unfortunately.
For the first batch I made for example, I used chocolate scorpion peppers and habaneros and you could taste that they were different and more refined, alongside being deadly. 🔥

We tried the sauce with roti last week actually and it was a really good combination.
I am personally a fan of Suriname style hot sauce, but the Misses doesn't like it. She says it's too much fire and not enough flavor. !ENGAGE 15
