Well, Europe & cockroaches...
Don't know about Australia, but here in Greece, cockroaches are quite active. (More so than in some places I lived in in China.)

Oh yes, I had forgotten that half of Europe lies in a more warm climate! Thankfully, bugs are much less bothersome up here... on the other had, you have better climate and food!
