Vargalovo

Vargalovo is a village in the Velikyustyug district of the Vologda region of Russia. It is part of the Ust-Alekseevsky rural settlement. At the beginning of the 21st century, five people lived here.

Now almost all houses have to literally make their way through the thickets of willow tea mixed with nettles.

And the intense heat adds extreme: you have to hide in houses from horseflies.

The road to this village leads through a beautiful pine forest.

Vargalovo stands more than two kilometers from the river. It is strange why people went deeper into the forest. There is not even a small stream nearby.

But judging by the number of overgrown and dry oxbow lakes in the vicinity, this village could once have stood close to the river in ancient times.

I would not say that there are ruins here - the houses are better preserved than in many other places.

This is the second time a hat comes across.

The photos left behind are commonplace.

In some houses, there is a feeling that someone was tidying up inside.

For the umpteenth time I am convinced that the desired place is always not as interesting as you imagined it to be.

And spontaneity, on the contrary, always surprises!

It's good when at least some things have been preserved in the house.

The preserved interior can be used to assess the life of people.

Although, to be honest, everything is monotonous everywhere...

In the villages of the poor hinterland, you can hardly find something interesting.

To see something unusual, you must at least be on some ancient trade route.

Well, if you want more from the usual and familiar look of the village, then you need to change the conditions of stay.

For example, it should be night - then it will be extreme only from some sensations.

And if you still find yourself alone, then it will be a difficult test for consciousness!

Under such conditions, you can be go daft...or tempered the mind.

How can things familiar to us become completely unknown when the angle of perception changes.

By the way, the last five photos refer to another village - Artemovka.

It stands very close, but the pictures were taken from the car window.

In Artemivka, local residents came to one of the houses, so I did not frighten them with my appearance with a camera.
