The Abandoned Hotel Neptuno and Surfers Riding Atlantic Waves - URBEX Tenerife

Next on our list of abandoned places on Tenerife, the Hotel Neptuno between Bajamar and Punta del Hidalgo. This has been a popular spot for Urban Explorers, well until they land owner hired a security guard to keep an eye on the property. So there was ZERO way for us to sneak in and explore. What a shame.

I snapped some pictures and a video (will be posting the pics soon) of the hotel but that was it. The cool thing though, right next to left hand side of the abandoned hotel there was a door which you can enter to get access to this super popular surfing spot. So instead of doing URBEX we watched these surfers taking in these beautiful waves. Which was a pleasure as well.

Watching these surfers, I have remembered a privileged place in the Bay of Biscay, famous for its left wave, where many American and Australian surfers go: Mundaka. Besides, I have to say that I find these last entries that you are dedicating to those abandoned places, but with a lot of history, of Tenerife very interesting. A warm greeting

I have many more URBEX places from Tenerife coming up! Stay tuned - Indeed, Tenerife is very interesting!

I think so. We will be waiting for those news.
