Hello friends of Hive, today I will tell you about the great experience that was visiting the waterfall of La Tranquilidad, in the municipality of Pueblo Bello, Cesar, Colombia.
To begin with, the place is located in a town that is two hours away from my hometown (Valledupar), so in order to enjoy our stay and stay for a while, we had to get up early.
In order to get to the waterfall, you need to walk 45 minutes to 1 hour up the mountain; that is how long it took my friends and I to get there, with few breaks to rest.
Although the road is long, uphill and there are not many trees to provide shade, when you are with friends, the road is always shorter.
When we arrived at the place, the first thing we did was to look for a place where we could set up our tents, so that we could rest and sleep well at night.
When we finished setting up the tents and settling in, we set out to see the place, take pictures, eat and swim in the waterfall.
In this part of Colombia, the temperature is usually lower and therefore, the water is colder. Personally, I don't like cold water, but I couldn't leave without having bathed in that waterfall, it would be a sin!
The waterfall, the weather, the vegetation and the peace that was breathed in that place, made that day the perfect day to relax, breathe fresh air, laugh and unite much more.
After bathing, we returned to the tents before dark and built a fire, drank wine and sang a song or two.
At nightfall, we only had the little light that the moon gave us. Everything was practically in darkness and it was so cold that not even the blanket we were carrying kept us warm.
I'm not going to lie by saying that we slept all night comfortably, simply because we were not prepared for such a thing; it was very cold and the tents were not at all comfortable, but as they say, the laughter was never lacking!
We went back the next day for work and study, but overall we enjoyed it very much.

Acampar es algo que siempre he querido hacer pero que nunca he hecho por un poco de miedo, no sólo al estar en un lugar alejado, sino a los delincuentes que aquí abundan, así que me da alegría ver tu post y darme cuenta que pudiste disfrutar junto a tus amigos de un experiencia genial.
El lugar es muy bonito y como pasa con todo lo que tenga que ver con la naturaleza, transmite mucha paz.

Parece que fue un buen plan entre amigos y es una excelente forma de quizá alejarse un poco de la tecnología, conectar un poco más entre ustedes y con la naturaleza. Las fotos están hermosas, dígame esa en donde se ve la cascada, impresionante. Lamento que la pernoctada no fuera tan cómoda pero con esta experiencia seguro tomarán otras medidas para la siguiente acampada que decidan hacer.

Yo nunca he acampado, pero me gustaría hacerlo. Que chevere que hayan disfrutado a pesar del frío y la incomodidad. El lugar es muy lindo.

Se ve muy hermoso ese lugar, me identifico con el frío que pasaron jajaja una vez hice lo mismo pero llovió y se inundaron las carpas 😂😂 fue horrible
El lugar es muy bonito para acampar y que feo que hayas pasado por eso. Menos mal no fue nuestro caso y la verdad no había pensado en la posibilidad de que lloviera 🤔.

Se ve muy bonito el lugar, yo tampoco dormiría bien, pero quien necesita dormir, estas experiencias hay que disfrutarlas al máximo. Qué bueno que las risas no faltaron!.

That place is lovely, especially the waterfall and you're lucky to be able to spend the night in a tent. There are too many bears here, roaming around freely, so camping is not safe anymore.
Wow, you don't usually see wild animals around here, but you do see the occasional snake. I hope one day you will be able to camp freely, greetings!
