Why even recommend this and then warn people about AI content on Hive in the footnotes?
didn't have the time to test this out, so not sure how it works, but i can see it being useful for adding some general info about the place, that you have to search on the web anyway.
travelfeed had (think still has) really interesting SEO optimization for blogs. for some reason there are 2 of the post i wrote that are top 2-3 on google search. one is about most important things on the internet, cats (of Corfu).
fitness photoshoot in switzerland has 9 out 10 top photos on google. from 220,000,000 results. so they are doing something right
We onboard many travelers through email/google/Facebook sign up and encourage them to join hive, but many post only in TravelFeed. Sadly, we have to advise our hive users against taking advantage of this new feature.
I should mention that this tool was originally intended to benefit hive users as well, development was complete by the time we became aware of Hivewatcher's new policies. The whole idea is to discourage posting posts which we suspect to be fully AI generated with third party tools (these posts are generally not great) and instead offer a writing companion, encouraging our authors to still express their own experiences. It is meant to be an assistant, the content creator is specifically designed to help with writing introductions, not complete posts.
