So my friend was meant to go to the London dungeon with his daughter but she didn’t want to go at the last minute So he asked if my friend and her son would like to go but her son didn’t want to go either so rather than waste the ticket I thought sod it I’m gonna go myself. Despite being late, since I had 10 mins to get out the house, they let me in no questions asked. I was definitely the only person on my own not in a friend group or family and I had to join onto random families at various points. But actually I had a really cool time, sadly I couldn’t really get any photos since they had a photography ban and everything was really dark. The experience takes you round the old London dungeons and there’s lots of actors playing role of olden day murderers and victims. They role-play various scenes, like Jack the Ripper, old-age surgeries before anaesthetic and all the torture tools that are used. Pretty greasy and I have to say! There is also a scary boat ride and drop ride, which made me scream I think more than the kids. See photo attached.
My boyfriend is super into skulls so I bought him this little gift which I think he’ll like When we finally get to meet up in Mexico next month.
Whilst I was in the Southbank I grabbed a coffee and took a wander around, there’s so much to do at the Southbank and always loads of activity.
I also found London is very own beach, it’s even sandy what more could you want?!
They had a special little Halloween exhibition with the cobwebs walkway and lots of themed bars and restaurants. I didn’t really want to eat anything but it’s nice to just have a look around.
Pizza anyone?
After this I walk down to the Tate which is only around 20 minutes walk along the river. But I’ll leave that till the next post…
