Existen ciertos lugares que para mi son perfectos para expresar el arte urbano, aunque no son definitivos porque se puede expresar en cualquier sitio, pero si puedo mencionar algunos puntos claves, como son los puentes, parques, muros en espacios públicos pocos transitados... Muchos espacios en esta ciudad, y posiblemente en otras también, son usados como refugio de personas en situación de calle, también como sitios para desechar la basura que ciertos individuos no logran desechar en lugares apropiados. También pienso que los gobiernos podrían crear lugares para destinarlos con este fin.
Los artistas urbanos suelen tomar estos espacios y hacerlos suyos, dándole una mejor cara a la ciudad, ayudan a recuperar estos espacios y a ponerles color, alegrando la vista de los que pasamos diariamente por ahí.
Este mural se sitúa debajo de un puente en el norte de la ciudad de Barranquilla, que permite mejorar el flujo vehicular de una avenida muy importante, la Olaya Herrera, que conecta en centro de la ciudad, cruza todo el norte y da salida de la ciudad por la principal vía que lleva a la ciudad de Cartagena.
Este lugar, hace un par de semanas estaba totalmente abandonado, con muchos residuos de basura, ahora se ha convertido en un lugar destinado para el arte urbano, recuperando este pasillo vial y dándole otra cara.
Lo que me gusta de este mural, son los colores, todos muy llamativos, y las formas bien definidas. Contiene mensajes y denuncias, claramente se enfoca en una protesta social. Es una expresión artística y social de un colectivo.
El mural fue creado a partir de una actividad de una comunidad llamada "Bloque feminista", según su red social de instagram, son una confluencia de mujeres y disidencias de género, organizadas y no organizadas creada en el 2021. Los usuarios de los muralista fueron publicados en la cuenta de instagram, aquí dejo sus usuarios: laaasiempreviva, obregonjoyce, azahardeamaranta.

There are certain places that for me are perfect to express urban art, although they are not definitive because it can be expressed anywhere, but I can mention some key points, such as bridges, parks, walls in public spaces with little traffic ... Many spaces in this city, and possibly in others as well, are used as shelters for homeless people, also as places to dispose of garbage that certain individuals fail to dispose of in appropriate places. I also think that governments could create places to be used for this purpose.
Urban artists usually take these spaces and make them their own, giving a better face to the city, they help to recover these spaces and give them color, brightening up the view of those of us who pass by daily.
This mural is located under a bridge in the north of the city of Barranquilla, which improves the vehicular flow of a very important avenue, the Olaya Herrera, which connects the center of the city, crosses the entire north and leaves the city by the main road leading to the city of Cartagena.
The place, a couple of weeks ago was totally abandoned, with a lot of garbage waste, now it has become a place for urban art, recovering this road corridor and giving it another face.
What I like about this mural are the colors, all very striking, and the well-defined shapes. It contains messages and denunciations, clearly focused on a social protest. It is an artistic and social expression of a collective.
This mural was created from an activity of a community called "Bloque feminista", according to their instagram social network, they are a confluence of women and gender dissidences, organized and unorganized created in 2021.
