CCC's Street Art Contest #104 AEC, Cape Town, South Africa

in StreetArt2 years ago

Here is another great wall I´ve found while I was strolling through the streets of Woodstock in Cape Town. I´ve got the feeling that 90% of Cape Towns StreetArt is found in either Woodstock or Salt Lake.

This one is from AEC Interesni Kazki whos real name is Aleksei Bordusov. The Ukrainian artist started painting the walls of Kiev with graffitis in the late 90s before he developed his unique own style.

I have no idea what he wants to tell us with this massive surreal piece of a Rhino in a hamster wheel holding a diamond but it most likely has a political meaning.

Whatever it means I really like it a lot. Must have took him quite a while to bring this one on the wall although it looks like he has done it with brushes and not with cans.

On the opposite side of the street was another huge mural I will show you next week.

This is such an interesting piece @betterthanhome 😎 great find. To bad we don’t know the meaning.
Have a great new week 👋🏻😊

Thank you. Since SA has a lot of diamond mines I guess it has something to do with it. Anyway, its beautiful.

Yes, could be related to just that…
It is and gets you thinking 😎
Have a great Tuesday @betterthanhome 👋🏻☀️

I think is a tarot card, the wheel of fortune, probably and surely with politic content, its great this art piece¡!

That makes sense. Thanks for pointing it out. :)
