Hello! This is my entry for the contest of the week. I love meeting with this community and being able to appreciate the art of graffiti around the world.
I took these photos 8 years ago in a historic area of Montevideo, in Uruguay. It was an unforgettable ride with @astrolabio. The area is called Ciudad Vieja, and it faces the estuary called Río de la Plata, a wide mouth of the Paraná and Uruguay rivers, in southern America.
Unfortunately I could not find the names of the artists ... something common in street art: anonymous artists who often leave indelible marks. I remember how much we liked meeting these fantasy beings in such a peaceful and lonely area. Somehow it broke with the landscape, adding a special magic to it.

¡Hola! Esta es mi entrada para el concurso de la semana. Me encanta encontrarme con esta comunidad y poder apreciar las diferentes formas que toma el arte del graffiti alrededor del mundo.
Tomé estas fotos hace 8 años en el casco antiguo de Montevideo, en Uruguay. Fue un paseo inolvidable con @astrolabio. La zona se llama Ciudad Vieja, y está frente al estuario llamado Río de la Plata, una amplia desembocadura de los ríos Paraná y Uruguay, al sur de América.
Lamentablemente no logré dar con el nombre de los artistas… algo común en el arte de la calle: artistas anónimos que muchas veces dejan huellas imborrables. Recuerdo cuánto nos gustó encontrarnos con estos seres de fantasía en una zona tan apacible y solitaria. De alguna forma rompía con el paisaje, agregándole una magia especial.
