Here my entry for the CCC's Street Art Contest #29 with a beautiful mural, tribute to the singer Lhasa :
La Route Chante (The Road Sings), mural was done in 2020 by Annie Hame in the Parc Gilles-Lefebvre in Montreal.
Annie Hame has a Bachelor of Visual Arts. She does mural for more than 10 years with large project in Quebec but also in France, Belgium and Mexico. You can see more about her works on her Instagram
The name of the mural, La Route Chante, comes from a book written by the singer Lhasa, died in 2010 due to cancer at the age of 37. The text on the mural are the lyrics of her song El Desierto (video at the end of the post) from hes first album La Llorona (1997).
