After forgetting to participate to the contest last week, here is my entry for this edition of the CCC's Street Art Contest #109 with this great wall made by Stare, a well respected artist and writer in Montreal. I still love this artist whose works are always beautifully integrated into their immediate environment.

As this is not the first post made on Stare, the bio is a copy and paste. But for the newbies, here is a brief bio. Stare is a Montreal based artist known for his always different and innovative style. He started graffiti in 1996 as a writer because he is passionate about typography and calligraphy. He founded the NME collective (Nous Menaçons l'Ennemi : We Threaten the Enemy). You can see his works in different cities around the world: Paris, Miami, Barcelona, Toronto, Sao Paolo, Taipei...
Comme Stare est un habitué de la série Street Art, un de mes artiste favori, sa biographie n'est pas nouvelle. Stare est un artiste basé à Montréal connu pour son style toujours différent et innovant. Il a commencé le graffiti en 1996 en tant que writer car il est passionné par la typographie et la calligraphie. Il a fondé le collectif NME (Nous Menaçons l' Ennemi). Vous pouvez voir ses œuvres dans différentes villes autour du monde : Paris, Miami, Barcelona, Toronto, Sao Paolo, Taipei...
This is a mural Untitled painted in 2015 on Saint-Hubert Street in Montreal. Very large work, it measures 13 meters by 11 meters (42' * 36') with a very nice color palette. Despite the years, the colors are less vivid but their mix with the different geometric elements and the lettering is simply stunning.
Ici il s'agit d'une murale Sans Titre peinte en 2015 sur la rue Saint-Hubert à Montréal. Très grande œuvre, elle mesure 13 mètres sur 11 mètres (42' * 36') avec une très belle palette de couleurs. Malgré les années, les couleurs sont moins vives mais leur mélange avec les différents éléments géométriques et le lettrage est simplement superbe.
Really cool lettering. I think the aging and wear actually enhance the look. Or at least it is becoming something new that is equally stunning.
Despite the years, this mural remains very cool and no one comes to cross it, a lot of respect for Stare in Montreal.
