Street Art #296 Waxhead, Montreal

in StreetArt4 years ago

As I said on my last post about Labrona, today it's Waxhead's turn, a prolific artist too with his very special world... During the lockdown, he became an expert in social distancing (the famous two meters), perfect to stand in line in front of the shops on boulevard Saint Laurent.

First I wanted to write a post about Waxhead and his friend Cryote but too many murals, works... all around Montreal. So I decided to divide it into several posts. I'll try to space them out so you don't get indigestion.

WHO

Born in Toronto, Waxhead is street-artist, painter, and creature creator (as he says) now based in Montreal since 2012. His style is quite unique, very coloured and detailed .

His nickname comes from when he painted a dripping head, a wax head.

You often find his works mixed with those of Cryote on many walls, doors in Montreal.

Graffiti on the ground! Very cool! 😄

Yep much better than simple mark on the sidewalk...

Well, I'm a bit late to this post, but hey, it's still nice to see some lovely Graffiti around. It would be pretty great to see this on the ground while walking around. I'd love to just follow the trail, and see if there's any magical treasure at the end XD

Much nicer than spots on the ground. And at the end of the trail, just the right to buy something in a store 😀

Haha, is that really the end of the trail? Well, I guess I could get some snacks or chocolate bars. So technically, it's a treasure on its own 😆

I have picked your post for my daily hive voting initiative, Keep it up and Hive On!!

Thanks for the upvote and reblog, it's appreciated.
