Today, I present you a wall done by Belgian artist Frog with beautiful letters surrounding a frog head, his trademark, in an alley near the Legal Wall of Rouen in Montreal.
Aujourd'hui, je vous présente un nouveau mur réalisé par l'artiste Belge Frog avec des superbes lettres entourant une tête de grenouille dans une ruelle près du Mur Légal de Rouen à Montréal.

Frog
William Van der Avoort aka Frog is a street artist and designer from Brussels, Belgium. He signs his murals with a frog's head (which I think is very close to a snake's), hence his nickname. On the design side, Frog turns into Boite Magik for more commercial work.
William Van der Avoort aka Frog est un street artist et designer de Bruxelles en Belgique. Il signe ses murales avec une tête de grenouille (qui s'approche, je trouve, beaucoup du serpent) d'où son surnom. Au niveau design, Frog se transforme en Boite Magik pour du travail plus commercial.
Frog was in Montreal in January 2020 just before the world break with Covid. We were treated to a few nice walls including this other work in an alley in Mile End, a crowned frog with the flag of Belgium planted in its tongue. It must hurt 😀.
Frog était de passage à Montréal en janvier 2020 juste avant la pause mondiale avec la Covid. On a eu le droit à quelques murs bien sympathiques dont cette autre œuvre dans une ruelle du Mile End, une grenouille couronnée avec dans la langue le drapeau de la Belgique planté. Cela doit faire mal 😀.

I like the frog head especially worked into the lettering but standalone also. I also like the colors that work well with the wall. But then again I do like frogs 🐸 haha
