Heute ist Karfreitag, der Tag an den Jesus am Kreuz gestorben ist. Auch hier in Mannheim verlor ein Mensch sein leben, jedoch nicht am einen Kreuz und nicht am Karfreitag. Es ist Mannheim der 3 Oktober 2013 als die Austauschstudentin Gabriele ( aus Litauen ) nach einem Kino-Besuch in der Uni Mannheim auf den Nachhauseweg machte, doch sie kam in ihre Studentenwohnung nie an. Am nächsten Tag fandet man ihr Leichnam in einen Gebüsch, erdrosselt mit ihrem Schal, beraubt und vergewaltigt. Der Täter wurde 2 Wochen nach der Tat geschnappt und bekamm Lebenslange Haftstrafe ( in Deutschland ist eine Lebenlange Haftstrafe unbestimmt. Sie kann jedoch nach 15 Jahren gemäß dem § 57a StGB zur Bewährung ausgesetzt werden, sollte sich der Täter während der Haftzeit nichts weiter zu Schulden kommen haben lassen. ) .

Erst seit im Jahre 2020 wurde der Tatort vom Verein Sicherheit Mannheim zu einer Gedenkstätte hergerichtet. Die Gebüsche wurden entfernt, Erde und pflanzen so wie Grableuchten wurden hinzugefügt und die Mauer wurde gestrichen und mit einem Graffiti verschönert, hier steht " From Mannheim with Love - Godspeed Gabriele " .

This graffiti, crime scene and gravesite is located near the Parkring below C8 outside the Mannheim squares and the Kurt-Schumacher-Brücke. If you go there, please have respect and not like those who have smeared the gravesite with red writing (you can see on the pictures right next to the white dove).

Dieses Graffiti, Tatort und Grabstätte befindet sich in der nähe vom Parkring unterhalb C8 außerhalb der Mannheimer Quadraten und an der Kurt-Schumacher-Brücke. Wenn ihr dort hin geht, habt bitte respekt und nicht so wie die die das mit roter schrift die Grabstätte verschmiert haben ( sieht man auf den Bildern rechts neber der weißen Taube ).
