The night was long and Sakai spent another night without rest but in terrible chaos and fighting. The previous night, I fought at the STONE ARCH CROSSING, which the Mongols occupied. Killed every one of them to free the area. After that, I felt like it was time to save my uncle.
But before that, I must save Yuna's brother, who is a great blacksmith but was captured by the Mongols. He can build the ladder to climb the castle Kaneda. Yuna's brother was captured in a fortress near Azamo Bay. So I headed that way to find Yuna who was with one of his friends called Kenji.
I met Yuna and Kenji at Kenji's house. They were both talking about how they could save Yuna's brother from the fortress. Kenji wasn't prepared at all for this mission as it was too dangerous. Yet Sakai and Yuna convince him to go on the mission.
We were ready. Kenji readied a cart full of sake, a traditional drinking wine from Japan. The night brought calmness with mystery. The plan was easy. When they reach near the fortress, Sakai and Yuna will hide in the cart and enter the fort. Then they will search for Taka and quietly escape the place.
The guards of the fortress were patrolling even far from the fort. Some of them were torturing the civilians, and some of them were doing practice. Yuna and Sakai got inside the cart, hiding. One of the guards stopped Kenji on the road but when he saw Kenji with loads of sake, he didn't bother to search. The same thing happened outside the main gate. They happily opened the main gate for the cart.
We safely got inside the fort. Kenji was on his mission to keep all the Mongolian soldiers busy drinking sake. While these two will find Taka and escape the fort. Kenji will wait for them on the crossroad behind the fort with horses.
Saving Taka was our main mission but the important part was "do not raise an alarm." So we were so alert and hid in the tall grass for an opportunity to move.
When we had the opportunity, we climbed on the rooftop. From there, I found out that the person in charge of the slaves was treating the prisoners badly. It was certain that if I followed him, he could lead us to Taka.
