The Legendary Armor.

I killed the Mongols and saved Yamato before finding Tadayori's armor. I had to protect Yamato from more enemies and fire arrows before the mission ended. Later, I was ambushed by bandits at a crossroads, but I killed them all and played my flute in the quiet forest.

I took down the Mongols and rescued Yamato from the enemy side. He told me his version of the story and what had happened to him while he was a prisoner. I then found Tadayori's special armor hidden safely beneath a structure there. I was happy to have the legendary gear in my hands.

Right after I got the armor, more enemies appeared and started shooting fire arrows at us. I knew the archers were the biggest threat, so I decided to go for them first.

After the archers were gone, I had to focus on the Mongols who were moving toward Yamato. They wanted to slay him while I was busy, so I stepped in and used my sword to stop their fast attacks.

When Yamato was safe, I looked for the other Mongols who were a bit far away. I knew they would come for him next, so I ran toward them to keep the danger away from the musician. I wanted the area to be completely clear of any enemies in the woods.

There was one last Mongol archer who was shooting from a high hill. I climbed up and kicked him off the edge, and then I jumped on him to finish him off.

I finished all the Mongols and said goodbye to Yamato. The mission ended and I left him alone in the quiet area.

He started playing some music on his instrument as I walked away from the site. The song sounded very sad and beautiful in the cold forest wind.

I was riding my horse when I was ambushed by bandits at the tangled crossroads. I went for a standoff and killed the first bandit quickly. The others got very scared when they saw how fast I was with my sword. They knew they had made a mistake by stopping my path.

I went for the next bandit while an archer watched from behind a tree. He did not have a clear shot at me because I used a tree as cover. I moved carefully to stay safe from the arrows. I kept my eyes on him at all times.

The archer was still looking for a window to shoot me. I noticed his plan and took cover behind a big tree. I stayed there and waited for the right moment to strike back at the hidden enemy. I could hear him pulling his bow string in the distance.

I decided to use my bow instead of my sword. I shot the archer with two arrows, he fell over the roots and was gone before he could fire a single shot at me. It was a very safe way to finish the long fight.

When all the bandits were gone, I stopped in the middle of the dark forest. Everything was quiet and I pulled out my flute to play a song. It was a nice way to relax after the fight. The forest felt much better now that the bandits were gone.

This part was very heroic and rewarding. Saving Yamato and finally getting Tadayori's armor was a big moment.

I wonder how such a good quest became a side quest.

Ending with the flute in the forest gives the entire sequence a peaceful close, especially after two very different fights back to back.

I kinda fell in love with this flute feature of the game.
