So when we were on the boat on the water and the scenery was fantastic, that was the moment when it was time to take the drone and have a decent spin around the water and land
But when the boating is nice, then it is often also that it is kind of windy and that my friends, in combination with a moving boat and a windy scenery. That is the situation you don't really want to have for when you want to hand land your drone.
I was doing something inside the boat when hubby came walking in with blood on his hands. One of the wind gusts had hit his hand while landing in a strike of wind. So the drone was out of balance during landing and it crashed a bit..
And yes...there was the water. And yes, the drone went for a swim. And yes, that did not take long. And also yes, that was the last we saw of him :(
Drones and water are not good friends at all. That was not a good place to crash a drone for the first time. Rest in piece on the bottom there little one :(
Hopefully some Hive payouts will work on getting a new one again, because I really liked being outside and fooling around with the drone and checking out the landscape.
Recently there was a fire in the neighborhood and that was also a good reason to let it up and do a small inspection from a distance. There is more to do with it than just fool around!
Sad to lose one of course, but now the exciting time to decide which to buy next? Do you get a waterproof drone, or one with super zoom, larger drone for camera quality and lifting power, or smaller one for travel and hiking? Decisions, decisions. Look forward to seeing what you end up with next!
Arghhh at the moment I have no idea. was looking for the replacement of the dji mini 2 without the extra pack but these are not really made anymore as it feels..sold out
So time to look for the study possiblilities for what now

No boat owner here dude. Landlocked region here so renting is awesome and low stress.
But indeed on a normal day on the boat that is awesome chill sessions!
