Aproximadamente en marzo de este año, buscando algún juego que me ayudara a bajar el estrés que me ocasionaba los constantes apagones en el área donde vivo, los cuales hacían que mi trabajo se retrasara, encontré un juego llamado Lords Mobile que me llamó la atención así que lo descargué.
Al principio, me gustaba ir desarrollando mi castillo poco a poco, recolectar los recursos necesarios para hacerlo subir de nivel y tratar de sobrevivir a los ataques de los otros jugadores con más nivel que yo. Sin embargo, a medida que pasaba el tiempo y me adentraba más en el juego, empezó a llamarme la atención los personajes llamados Héroes.
Comencé a prestar atención a las historias cortas sobre ellos y vi varios cortometrajes realizados por la empresa que desarrolla el juego, así que podía entender más sus personalidades y me fascinaron.
Estuve jugando un tiempo con la idea de hacer fanarts de ellos, pero como no veía que hubiera muchos, pensé que la comunidad estaba más centrada en el desarrollo de las batallas que en hacer fanarts así que iba dejando pasar el tiempo.
En junio, vi que había un llamado a la comunidad a participar en un evento llamado “Content Creators Turf”, para realizar videos o fanarts del tema que daban. Me entusiasmó la idea y decidí participar, aunque no sabía qué nivel de arte requerían para la parte de fanarts.
Dibujé a uno de mis héroes preferidos, Ícaro El Cuervo Nocturno en mi estilo anime-manga. Este héroe es mitad humano, mitad ave. Como dibujante y con mayor tendencia al diseño de personajes, Ícaro me fascinó con su diseño ya que los colores usados reflejan mucho el plumaje del ave; su armadura y ataques son realmente impresionantes. Traté que conservara en el lenguaje corporal, el sarcasmo que se siente cuando dice una de sus frases indicando que tiene fobia a las alturas.
Lo envié sin tener muchas expectativas siquiera de ser visto. Duré unos días enferma y no pude entrar al juego así que no tenía idea del resultado del evento. Finalmente, cuando pude entrar, para mi sorpresa no sólo había ganado las recompensas por ser uno de los artes sobresalientes, sino que recibí una invitación a formar parte del grupo Senior Content Creators. Fue realmente sorprendente y agradable para mí, saber que les gustó mi interpretación de Ícaro, el cual fue agregado a la galería de la página en la sección del Territorio de los creadores de contenido.

At the beginning, I liked to develop my castle little by little, gather the necessary resources to make it level up and try to survive the attacks of the other players with a higher level than me. However, as time passed and I got deeper into the game, the characters called Heroes began to attract my attention.
I started to pay attention to the short stories about them and I watched several short films made by the company that develops the game, so I could understand their personalities more and I was fascinated by them.
I was playing for a while with the idea of making fanarts of them, but since I didn't see there were many, I thought that the community was more focused on the development of the battles than on making fanarts, so I was letting time pass.
In June, I saw that there was a call for the community to participate in an event called "Content Creators Turf", to make videos or fanarts of the topic they gave. I was excited about the idea and decided to participate, even though I didn't know what level of art was required for the fanart part.
I drew one of my favorite heroes, Icarus The Night Raven in my anime-manga style. This hero is half human, half bird. As a cartoonist and with a greater tendency towards character design, Icarus fascinated me with his design since the colors used reflect a lot the plumage of the bird; his armor and attacks are really impressive. I tried to keep in his body language, the sarcasm that it feels when he says one of his phrases indicating that he has a phobia of heights.
I sent it without much expectation of even being seen. I was sick for a few days and couldn't get into the game so I had no idea about the outcome of the event. Finally, when I was able to enter, to my surprise not only found I won the rewards for being one of the outstanding arts, but I received an invitation to be part of the Senior Content Creators group. It was really surprising and nice for me to know that they liked my interpretation of Icarus, which was added to the gallery of the page in the section of the Territory of content creators.
