Chasing Passion - Spirit of Resilience and Commitment

Good to be here. I've decided to wake the sleeping giant, no more excuses to why I'm not going to train anymore. Staying fit has been one of my most profound goals in life, I really love to take care of my health. If you don't have money atleast stay healthy, don't lose the two because that's where the real poverty lies.

I've been doing some manual workouts at home back then in the university and even when I was done. Infact, when I was done with highschool, I enrolled myself into a gymnastics program where I keep track of my exercise and routines and that helped me with the issue of consistency as we all know this is one of the biggest issues with working out, CONSISTENCY!

I've been trying to derive means that will keep me in track, it was more like being addicted and feeling okey with it, I never wanted a scenery that I gave up on the type of physique I want to see myself achieve. Don't get it twisted, it's more than just the six packs, it's about the state of staying fit and healthy, strong and bold in front of any confrontation that may come my way.

Unfortunately, my gym centre was acquired by the government, I wish I could do a thing about that but it's the government, I can't do nothing to them but I can keep myself going regardless. Not going to the gym sway my zeal and seriousness a little bit down but rolling down the stairs of life I found my way back. I just made a local weight and a bench for my workout.

Atleast it's going to be difficult I stop this time around, I wanted to take off all the excuses and work hard hence the acquisition of my gym equipments.

All of these were manually constructed by me with the help of my carpenter neighbor, I didn't spent a lot but I'm certain about what I’ll achieve with all these, it’s gonna be massive. I'm determined, I am sure I'll do very well on this because even without the gym equipments I try to do some pushups and squats at home to remind my muscles that I've not given up on them.

It wasn't a difficult process creating the weights for my dumbbells. I bought cements and did the mixing myself after watching few tutorial videos on YouTube. It was quite not hard to create once you have the sufficient materials to do so. I did my improvisations because I had only a rubber pan to mold the weights.

I had mixed everything up the sand, cements and water so, I have no other options than to mold everything that day else the mixture will dry up and become a waste. It was a bit confusing for me from the beginning because I needed every weight to dry up before removing the molding pan. I'm glad I made my way through it, I used some nylon to help keep the weights in shape then applied dry cements to help suck the water and make it strong so I'll be able to remove the mold and create another one.

Everything turned out just as I wanted. I'm glad that I'm back on track and henceforth I'll be sharing my progress with you all in the community.
