Hello dear community, today I want to share with you how we can approach the study of mathematics in our daily life and thus understand the great importance of this area of knowledge for our environment.
I imagine that many of you as well as the vast majority of my students are not lovers of numbers, but this has basically been largely as a result of teaching isolated from the daily life of the students so that they do not find anything attractive, a situation that for some years now the current education system has tried to change by proposing the development of challenges according to each area of knowledge and today I want to share with you the mathematics challenge that we did the week that just ended.
Although this is not my area of knowledge, because I am a specialist in Chemistry, I was in charge of the previous advising of the content that the students were going to deal with, we organized them in 3 groups and each one chose a different line of research, which gave an added attraction to each work.
The first line of research was Productive Mathematics, in which this young woman shows us how mathematics has an impact on the development and design of 3D letters (letters that are seen in different dimensions), as well as how the different geometric figures, such as the square, circle or rectangle, just to mention a few, are widely used in technical drawing. These millimeter sheets that sometimes we think are only used for graphing, but it is not so are also used in the development of drawings perfectly established and that we are uniformly designed with the help of these small boxes.
Another line of research was the innovative mathematics and its application in the blockchain and cryptocurrencies, I will confess that this is not a totally unknown topic for my students, as some of them have been able to interact in the world of cryptocurrencies through NFT games like Axie Infinity, besides talking a little of its history and its significance today for all those new entrepreneurs in the world of cryptocurrencies.
In this sense, it is important to highlight that through mathematics in terms of the blockchain, financial systems such as the staking of cryptocurrencies can be developed where a measure of price control within an asset is established in a certain way, in other words, procedures based on the traditional economy are executed but this generating greater profitability. Another major influence is that through mathematics the blockchain allows to execute commands based on numbers to form new NFT, you can exchange assets, you can establish a price control relationship between a cryptocurrency in relation to the price of the dollar..
We also have digital mathematics applied to ICT, undoubtedly this is also a very innovative and attractive topic for the current educational system, which had more boom at the time of the pandemic and that somehow has been projected more strongly as a result of that event that allowed us to make use of technology, Here I want to highlight the use of an application called Photomath, which allows you to verify the development of different mathematical exercises and gives you a detailed procedure of its development, which makes it more reliable and safe for students.
Similarly, one of the lines of research that can be more cumbersome and difficult to embroider is Matebots, which consists of mathematics and its influence on the development of robotics and mechatronics, both branches are very complex and have a close relationship with engineering, but what is worth highlighting is that technology is not isolated from mathematics and that together they work to design robots that facilitate the work of the human body in the loading of heavy material in different areas of life such as agriculture, medicine, aeronautics, transportation and the different industries of the country's market.
There was one of the participations that was made by students of the night high school, but that called my attention, since I saw the applicability of the topic in linear function with a tangible projection that aroused in me a lot of curiosity, since they focused their exercise on the planting of milky plants, where the variable X (represented the number of hectares) and the variable Y (the amount of milky plants produced per hectare), being this an agricultural area I was very interested and even more so because this topic tends to be somewhat complex to approach, but contextualizing the content, I would expect the children to acquire it in a simple way.
Finally, with these challenges I was able to verify the importance of the strategies that we as teachers use to impart the process of teaching and learning mathematics and how we can leave the traditional numerical and complex method to adapt it to the contextualization of the students' daily life, so that they can change their abstract vision of the study of mathematics for something playful, dynamic and above all innovative in today's world.

Hola querida comunidad, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes como podemos enfocar el estudio de la matemática en nuestra vida diaria y de esta manera comprender la gran importancia que tiene esta área del saber para nuestro entorno.
Me imagino que muchos de ustedes al igual que la gran mayoría de mis estudiantes no son amantes a los número, pero esto básicamente ha sido en gran parte como consecuencia de dictar una enseñanza aislada de la cotidianidad de los estudiantes por lo que a ellos no le parece nada atractivo, situación que desde hace unos años para acá el Sistema Educativo actual ha tratado de modificar proponiendo la elaboración de retos de acuerdo a cada área del conocimiento y hoy les quiero compartir el de las matemáticas que lo realizamos la semana que recién culmino.
Aunque esta no es mi área del conocimiento, porque yo soy especialista en Química, me encargue de las asesorías previas del contenido que los muchachos iban a abordar, los organizamos en 3 grupos y cada uno eligió una línea de investigación diferente, lo cual le dio un atractivo más a cada trabajo.
La primera línea de investigación era Matemática productiva, en ella esta joven nos muestra como la matemática tiene su repercusión en la elaboración y diseño de letras tipo 3D (letras que se ven en dimensiones distintas), además de como las diferentes figuras geométricas, como el cuadrado, el circulo o el rectángulo, por solo mencionar algunos son ampliamente usados en el dibujo técnicos. Estas hojas milimetradas que en ocasiones pensamos que solo se utilizan para graficar, pero no es así también se emplean en la elaboración de dibujos perfectamente establecido y que nos queden uniformemente diseñados con la ayuda de esos pequeños recuadros.
Otra de las líneas de investigación fue la matemática innovadora y su aplicación en la blockchain y las criptomonedas, les confesare que este no es un tema totalmente desconocido para mis estudiantes, pues alguno de ellos han podido interactuar en el mundo de las criptomonedas a través de los juegos NFT como el Axie Infinity, además de hablarles un poco de su historia y su trascendencia en el actualidad para todos aquellos nuevos emprendedores en el mundo de las criptografía.
En este sentido, es importante resaltar que a través de la matemática en términos de la blockchain se pueden desarrollar sistemas financieros como el staking de criptomonedas donde se estable de cierta forma una medida de control de precio dentro de un activo, en otras palabras, se ejecutan procedimientos basados en la economía tradicional pero esto generando una mayor rentabilidad. Otra de las grandes influencias es que a través de la matemática la blockchain permite ejecutar comandos basados en números para formar nuevos NFT, se puede intercambiar activos, se pueden establecer relación control precio entre una criptomoneda en relación al precio del dólar.
También tenemos la matemática digital aplicada a la TIC, sin duda alguna este también resulta un tema muy innovador y atractivo para el sistema educativo actual, el cual tuvo más auge en la época de la pandemia y que de cierta manera se ha proyectado con más fuerza a raíz de ese suceso que nos permitió hacer uso de la tecnología, su innovación y los diferentes medios de comunicación que pueden ser una excelente herramienta pedagógica tanto para el docente como para el estudiante, aquí quiero resaltar el uso de una aplicación denominada Matebot, la cual te permite verificar el desarrollo de los diferentes ejercicios matemáticos y que te brinda un procedimiento minucioso de su desarrollo, lo cual lo hace más confiable y seguro para los estudiantes.
Del mismo modo, una de las líneas de investigación que puede resultar más engorrosa y difícil de bordar es la Matebots, la cual consiste en la matemática y su influencia en el desarrollo de la robótica y mecatrónica, ambas ramas son muy complejas y tienen una estrecha relación con la ingeniería, pero lo que vale la pena resaltar es que la tecnología no está aislada de la matemática y que en conjunto trabajan para diseñar robot que les facilitan el trabajo al cuerpo humano en la carga de material pesado en las diferentes áreas de la vida como la agricultura, la medicina, aeronáutica, el transporte y las diferentes industrias del mercado del país.
Hubo una de las participaciones que la realizaron estudiantes del liceo nocturno, pero que me llamo mucho la atención, ya que vi la aplicabilidad del tema en función lineal con una proyección tangible que despertó en mi mucha curiosidad, ya que ellos enfocaron su ejercicio en la siembra de lechosas, donde la variable X (representaba el nuero de hectáreas) y la variable Y (la cantidad de lechosa que se producen por hectárea), siendo esta una zona agropecuaria me intereso mucho y más aún porque este tema tiende hacer algo complejo de abordar, pero contextualizando el contenido, esperaría que los muchachos lo adquirieran de una forma sencilla.
Finalmente con estos retos pude verificar la importancia de la estrategias que nosotros como docentes utilizamos para impartir el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje de las matemáticas y cómo podemos salir del método tradicional numérico y complejo para adaptarlo a la contextualización del día a día de los estudiantes, que ellos puedan cambiar su visón abstracta del estudio de la matemática por algo lúdico, dinámico y sobre todo innovador en la actualidad.

Mi estimadísima Sidalim, que gusto volver a leerte y que gran post nos traes. Guao nunca espere que este tipo de proyectos se realizaran aquí en Venezuela, yo pensaba que eso se hacia en otros países (o puede ser el tipo de liceo también 😅) Me llena de ilusión que esos muchachos tan jóvenes estén formándose en áreas tan importantes del conocimiento. Si, es necesaria que se fomente una educación dirigida para el fortalecimiento de una educación constructivista partiendo como base de la cotidianidad y hechos reales de su entorno, de esta forma el contenido se hace mas efectivo a los jóvenes.
