Greetings Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding towns and villages!
Once again, we have arrived at the weekend, and that means CATURDAY, my favorite day of the week... although our Hoomans do a pretty good job of making us feel like all days are Caturday!

Birthdays Are in the Air!
The end of August means birthdays around here!
No, not kitty birthdays, but Hooman birthdays. Last Tuesday was the Daughter-Hooman's 31st birthday, and on Tuesday next it will be the Dad-Hooman's birthday. He's not telling how old he is... but he's old!
There's a moth on the ceiling... I should GET it!
We cats like birthdays, though... because it usually means there will be extra kitty treats in the offing! And who doesn't like an extra treat or two?
Thankfully, the Hoomans will be staying home for the occasion!

As the Crypto Turns... and Turns, and Turns...
Seems like cryptocurrency markets are a bit like the weather in our part of the world: If you don't like it, just stick around for a few hours and it will change!
Just when we all thought things were slowly getting better, everything suddenly falls off a cliff, again. And then the Hoomans go back to anxiously wringing their hands and gnashing their teeth. What's a cat to do?

In all seriousness, though, sometimes you have to wonder whether it is always going to be like this... or will the Cryptosphere eventually mature to the point where there is a little less volatility?
I used to not care very much, but as my little nest eggs keeps building, it feels like I have a little more "at stake." And I'm only playing around in the "shallows" of Hive and our various offerings on Hive-Engine!
Pondering my next move...
Goal Setting... and "Things"
We're coming up on just four months left in 2022!
Has it been anything like I hoped or expected? Well, reserving judgment on that one... but I am looking at some of the goals we set at the beginning of the year, getting a sense of what might still be accomplished, and what has become impossible.
I think it's important to be ready and willing to change/modify your goals as you go along. Reaching for something that's clearly not going to happen can be a bit depressing!
So don't do that!

Cat Snaps by @manorvillemike is a place to post pictures of your cats when you don't have a whole lot to say beyond just sharing your cute photos!
Caturday Community by @saboin is a community where we get to celebrate posts relating to Saturday — aka "Caturday" — our own special day!
Cat Photos by @andrarchy is a "mixed use" cat content community; posts can be just photos or longer, as long as the subject is CATS! It has a lot of subscribers but is not very active.
Cats by @captainklaus (and Sissi!) is another "general" cat content community; it's there, but not very active.
Last, but certainly not least, a special shoutout to the Hive Pets Community which has become quite active and typically has quite a bit of cat content!
There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
