and a short but refreshing swim I met "Mythos"

At the Olondi seaview restaurant

Sure, after such an exhausting walk and swim some food and a refreshing drink was the stuff we need.

What should I say, whenever you are so close to the sea, get it fresh.
The distance between harbor and restaurant was less than 100m

---

Taste

The Mythos beer has a light taste and was my first greek beer after around 30 years

Others say:

Aroma of malt, straw, hay, slight rice
Pale golden colour with small head
Taste is pilsner malt, straw, grass, some herb?
High carbonation with watery fizzy mouthfeel
First beer in greece, could be worse

Living it up out there! We didn't go again due to this virus. Seems a lot of hassle with the restrictions.

At the day we started, this area had the lowest values in EU and already 70% to 100% had their injections

We choose a place for us alone and feel safe as home - but a bit more sun.

Crete is one of my absolute favorite islands. I have been there many times and I am always surprised how great this island is. And the beer Mythos that just belongs to Greece and Crete.

By the way, the honey from Greece and especially from Crete is one of the best I know. Especially from Crete tastes like thyme

Any other cool tips for a family hungry for adventures?

We will look for some diving and I have to go to Matala, as I've been there 30 or more years ago - a time where I sill had a lot hair.

That with the hair - I know what you mean😂

Crete has a lot to offer - whatever your taste. I love driving a jeep across the island off the beaten track - I've experienced things you can hardly imagine. Or, of course, the gorges - apart from the Samaria Gorge, the Ambros Gorge is also a highlight. I did jet skiing in Agio Nicolaus, but that was 20 years ago. Another good excursion is the Lasitti Plain, which is very rural.
Matala is a tourist nest and the caves are worth seeing but usually overcrowded. Above all, I would also take a boat around the southwest coast - great pictures of the island's ruggedness. I also found the military cemetery at Marleme memorable.
