Mönchshof Naturtrübes Kellerbier

For #BEERSATURDAY this week, I made myself a Mönchshof Kellerbier for the first Bundesliga match day.	Zum #BEERSATURDAY diese Woche, habe ich mir für den ersten Bundesliga Spieltag ein Mönchshof Kellerbier aufgemacht.
This mnemonic smiles at you in just about every supermarket. It's not the most expensive beer, but with the monk in the logo, it already suggests a typical Bavarian culture. Of course, the bottle says on the front "Brewed according to the Bavarian Purity Law!".	Diese Merke lacht einem so gut wie in jedem Supermarkt an. Es ist nicht das teuerste Bier, aber mit dem Mönch im Logo, suggeriert es schon eine typische bayerische Kultur. Natürlich steht auf auf der Flasche vorne "Gebraut nach dem bayerischen Reinheitsgebot!"
And of course our Bavarian wasps appreciate that too. Immediately after opening, three of them joined us for a drink.	Und natürlich wissen das auch unsere bayerischen Wespen zu schätzen. Gleich nach dem öffnen, waren drei davon sofort beim gemeinsamen Umtrunk dabei.

The brewery is from Kulmbach, just above Bayreuth and still in Bavaria. The label with the barrels is very appealing, although I doubt that barrels were really used here.	Die Brauerei ist aus Kulmbach, also oberhalb von Bayreuth und gerade noch so in Bayern. Das Etikett mit den Fässern ist schon sehr ansprechend, wobei ich bezweifle, dass wirklich hier Fässer im Einsatz waren.
I don't really drink this beer very often, as it's already too aggressive merchandise for me. There's just a bit too much hammering on it to show that it's brewed by monks. Who would believe such a thing.	Ich trinke dieses Bier nicht wirklich oft, da mir schon ein zu aggressives Merchandise ist. Es ist einfach ein bisschen zu viel mit dem Hammer draufgeschlagen, um zu zeigen, dass es von Mönchen gebraut wird. Wer glaubt den schon sowas.
But ok. I actually drank this beer for the first time consciously to give my opinion.	Aber ok. Ich habe dieses Bier tatsächlich jetzt zum ersten mal wirklich bewusst getrunken um meine Meinung abzugeben.
It is more reminiscent of a dark beer. Very spicy and strong in taste. And with 5.4 percent alcohol, it's not really a lightweight. But I have to say, I enjoyed it very much. I didn't expect it to be like this.	Es erinnert eher an ein dunkles Bier. Sehr würzig und kräftig im Geschmack. Und mit 5,4 vollumen Prozent Alkohol nicht wirklich ein Leichtgewicht. Muss aber schon sagen, ich habe es sehr genossen. Hätte ich nicht so erwartet.

The foam is good. A few bigger pores, but it was nice to look at.	Der Schaum ist gut. Ein paar großere Poren, aber er war schön anzusehen.

I'll try to give points now. From 1 to 10, where 1 means not to recommend and 10 means definitely to buy. The price is not taken into account	Ich versuche jetzt mal Punkte zu geben. Von 1 bis 10. Wobei 1 nicht zum empfehlen und 10 unbedingt kaufen bedeutet. Der Preis wird nicht berücksichtigt
This beer gets a 7 from me.	Dieses Bier bekommt von mir eine 7.

Das Keller !BEER von Mönchshof hatte ich auch schon einmal. Mir hat es auch sehr gut geschmeckt und ich würde es auch empfehlen.
