Laško Burin, light session lager, whatever that means, with 3.5 % alc. and added sea salt. An inviting and refreshing combination? You bet it is!
In the evening, when returning home, I did what I very rarely do. I entered local grocery store to buy a couple of beer cans. It's a rare occasion because I don't tned to drink beer from cans but there are always exceptions. Also, I have my beer delivered every couple of weeks in bottles from a friend of mine who runs a micro brewery. But, after holidays, the beer was gone and hence the need for emergency solution. Not out of despair. Just out of wish to cap the day with something nice and refreshing.
So I was very happy to see Laško Burin on the shelves. It's a limited series, I think, of special beer mixed with Piran salt. Really nice combination which gives a great taste. I am not fooling if I say it feels like standing by the sea and enjoying breeze while you are drinking this beer.
This ad for the beer is alluding to the name of Burin which is name of a local wind in our seaside area.

So, what is burin? taken from this page about Adriatic winds:
Burin is another favourite wind during the summer months (North East (NE)); a thermal wind that usually blows during the evenings and night hours. Burin blows in almost the same direction as the infamous bura, but at a much more pleasant force.
In short, it's a weak bora wind :)
As you can see, it's color is very light with little foam. When poured the sound reminds you of a breeze. No kidding!
While writing this article I ran out of Burin. Need to restock it since I can rarely find it in stores. Mostly because I don't buy beer in shops.
