Manchmal sind es ja die kleinen Dinge die sich am Ende als die Größten behaupten, ob dies aber auch auf die Mini Flasche des Bieres zutrifft, welche ich heute anlässlich des 203.BEERSATURDAY vom @detlev öffne zutrifft, wird sich im Laufe dieses Beitrags zeigen.
Solche 25 cl Fläschchen sind ja eigentlich der pure Witz für einen gestandenen Biertrinker, aber werden in Portugal sehr gerne getrunken. Es gibt eigentlich fast keine der größeren Brauereien die solch ein Zwergen Bier nicht anbietet.
Ich persönlich lasse normalerweise die Finger davon, da ich zum einen so ein Fläschchen in einem Zug wegputze und die Winzlinge nur unwesentlich billiger als ihre großen Geschwister sind.
Beim XARLIE Bier machte ich jedoch eine Ausnahme, da ich es noch nicht kannte und es nur in diesem Format vorrätig war.

Such 25 cl bottles are the pure joke for a confessed beer drinker but are drunk in Portugal very much. There are almost none of the larger breweries that do not offer such a dwarf beer.
I usually keep my hands off them, because for one thing I polish off such a bottle in one go, and for another, the tiny beers are only marginally cheaper than their big brothers and sisters.
However, I made an exception for the XARLIE beer, as I didn't know it yet and it was only in stock in this format.

Das Etikett in seiner ansprechenden Schlichtheit verrät nicht viel, lediglich das es in der Stadt LEIRIA gebraut wird, sich mit 5 % VOL / ALC im normalen Radius bewegt und das man die Frechheit besaß dem Getränk Glucose Sirup beizumischen, was mich etwas unruhig machte.

The label in its appealing simplicity doesn't reveal much, only that it is brewed in the city of LEIRIA, is within the normal radius at 5% VOL / ALC, and that they had the gall to add glucose syrup to the drink, which made me a little uneasy.

Aber nun, ich hatte auch schon süßliche Biere die durchaus zu überzeugen wussten und so schenkte ich die Kleine in ein Glas ein und sah sie mir etwas genauer an.

Naja, sieht halt aus wie Bier.
Nichts anderes war zu erwarten.
Auch ist´s schon nach Vier.
So kann ich jetzt starten.

Well, it just looks like beer.
Nothing else was to be expected.
Also, it's already after four.
So I can start now.

Herr im Himmel, was ist das denn?
Pfui Teufel!
Das Bier schmeckte als stünde es schon seit Stunden in der Sonne, schal und praktisch ohne Kohlensäure.

Lord in heaven, what is that?
Ugh!
The beer tasted as if it had been standing in the sun for hours, stale and practically carbonless.

Der Griff zu diesem Fläschchen war ein Griff ins Klo, da trinke ich lieber ein ordinäres Sagres Bier und das will was heißen.

The handle to this bottle was a handle into the WC, there I drink rather a tidy Sagres beer, and that wants to mean something.
