It was sultry last week. So we were looking for some good refreshment. And we found it, a microbrewery in Opava (Czechia), Nová sladovna. Here is a short overview of their beer-menu. Cheers!
Mango Mania 10° (4%). A fruit Ale with 100% mango juice. Looks extremely refreshing (love the deep color), although taste is not that significant, worth trying though!
On the left, Opavský korbel 11° (4.5%) , bottom-fermented lager. You cannot go wrong with this one ever!
On the right, there is New Malt House IPA 14° (5.8%), top-fermented beer of the Czech beer style coming from Broumy. Wheat malt, oat flakes, orange peel. Hops: Citra and Simcoe. All in all, very drinkable mild IPA with descent fruit taste.
Rye lager 12° (5%), a smooth and tasty bottom-fermented lager, hops: legendary hop from Žatec and Columbus.
As a bonus, they make home-made potato chips. Very tasty and surprisingly crispy!
