Hail to the Hive!
After an afternoon of aimless wandering around Dahab, drinking coffee, eating cheesecake and window shopping, we felt the need for some ice cold beverages of the decidedly beery variety.
The end of day sun looked like it was going to create an extremely pleasant backdrop that can only be enhanced by the consumption of said ice cold beery beverages so we were on the hunt.
Not everywhere serves beer though we noticed so after spying a good viewing spot we inquired as to whether booze was actually available and thankfully got the nod. So we were able to improve this view….
With this view!
Which I think we can all agree is a massive improvement.
And at this loint beer lovers Imhave to inform you that Sakara Gold is an extremely tasty, crisp, refreshingly delicious cold beery beverage best served with a great view and the company of cats.
David Bowie the Cat here clearly voicing his agreement.
Taking people watching tips from the experts too while we chatted and supped on our Sakaras, mostly discussing our diving escapades and wondering where to have dinner.
I have to say I do love Dahab. On evenings like this it’s hard not to as it is about as perfect as it gets. Nice weather, great diving, good beer and friendly cats.

May have to ask the cat where’s a good spot for dinner as I am sure he knows best!
They know alot more than they let on. There’s a reason the ancient Egyptians worshipped them.

Ha ha, I loved the way you wrote this almost through the eyes of your furry cat companions. I'm a cat person myself, so I'd happily recreate your experience. In fact probably 75% of the time I'd rather have a few cold beers with some silent furry friends than a group of people 😅
You're right, cats see much more than we do. A have a friend who is a highly qualified practitioner of Reiki, and she told me her cat has healing (especially more on the emotional side of things) powers.
At first, I was like 'stop trying to take the piss' but I went to a party at her and her hubby's house around 6 months ago and I was already feeling blue tbh and that cat made a bee-line for me as soon I sat down with a rum & coke, jumped on my lap, started purring, did one of those catty things of bumping it's head against mine blinked at me a few times, and then sat down on my lap and didn't move for an hour while I petted the kitty.
Within 30 mins my blues were gone and I was feeling decidedly upbeat.
BTW, are you out in Dahab Scuba Diving?
I've dived the red sea three times and it is genuinely my fav dive destination out of all the places I've dived.
P.s. those pictures are awesome, they show the vibrancy of wherever it is in Dahab you're staying.
Cats sure do have some powers to soothe ya when feeling down. I’ve experienced that as well. We were diving in Dahab yes. Its a sweet spot, wouldn’t mind returning again.
