I love planners. They make me organize the things I need to do and remember important dates. It motivates me to be productive since it's very easy for me to just forget no matter how important they are.
Starbucks have this yearly planners and tumblers that you could get as a reward. I mean, it's technically free but you need to collect stickers which you can get from buying their drinks during the promo period. It usually starts from November until January.
I've always been looking at their planners every year but I've never had them before. Mainly cos I hated drinking coffee at Starbucks because of the usual noisy and packed environment - there's always someone talking loudly and there's a lot of people coming and going constantly which annoyed me. But times have changed for me now because the cafe that I usually go to before is now packed AF and too noisy since it became so popular to students and people having their meetings so it's almost always full no matter the time. Starbucks stores usually still have a lot of people but they aren't as noisy as before and most people go quickly so I started going there more often. How the turntables. 😂
The 2023 Starbucks traditions collection is really attractive and I think they are pretty, especially their planners. So I got motivated to collect some stickers to get them lol.
In order to be able to claim one, during the promo period they will give you some card which contains electronic stickers inside. Each drink will get you 1 sticker and for you to be able to claim any reward (planner or tumbler), you will need 18 stickers. So yeah, 18 drinks worth is one planner. :P
Since this is my first time claiming, I was actually surprised about the quality of this one. It looks and feels so well-made for a free notebook. :P
The material feels nice and the stitching is also good. It feels a bit heavy and bulky, so for some people who always go out and need to bring this somewhere, this might not be a good choice unless they have a big bag and are okay with it.
The size is 7.4in x 5.5in (19cm x 14 cm) so it's just a good size for me.
The button here is nice lol. They have their logo everywhere but I love the quality.
The color that I got is champagne so they have the rings and buttons in silver. The black planner on the other hand has bronze.
They have the pages in a refillable pack but I'm not sure if they will ever sell pages for 2024 that will fit this. XD
It has what you need for a planner. An overview of the month where it's calendar-format and you could easily write down a summary of the day.
It also has a weekly overview and in the next pages have dotted ones where you could write some random notes. There are no daily pages so it's quite limited. In the very back/end part will have these "notes" pages.
It also has a pen. :P The pen itself looks expensive lol it is heavy but tiny.
The months are divided by these artworks with some random coffee quote on it.
I'm pretty satisfied with what I got. It's worth collecting and claiming if you are into Starbucks. If you don't like it then you can just sell them haha. I see a lot of sellers online, selling them for as high as $35. 😳 Dunno where they got those but it gives us an idea of how much it could sell. :P
This is from Starbucks Philippines tho and I don't know how they look like in other countries. I don't even know if they have them lol.
We have them in red but it's going from Nov-December and there's like $150 minimum spent before we can claim those free planner. Also, it's only 18 drinks, so much cheaper! 😂
Whaaaat. How much is Starbucks per drink there? And lol you only have 2 months to collect the stickers? And how many stickers do you need to collect?
Let's say the cheapest is $3 and you have to spend $150 in total(as we don't use stickers)before you get the planner, that means, you'd have to buy 50 cups of them 😂 my tracker is only 5% and that after spending around $6🙃

From the look of things, this planner looks really helpful, jotting down summary of every activities altogether and mapping out next. Moreover, that planner has a great quality I bet that!... it's quite obvious with all their logos stamped almost on every page!

Hmmm I actually have planner but I can’t commit to it well hahah. I’m not a very neat or organized person so committing to a planner is still a struggle. Sometimes I don’t write everything since my life isn’t that busy anyways. But it is better than nothing :D

I think it is expensive for a cup of coffee. A cup costs around 150-200 pesos depending on the size. But comparing it to other coffee shops, I think they are almost the same prices now.
To me, I care about quality and experience that's why I go to Starbucks. There are other coffee brands that might taste better for your taste and some people don't really like the taste of Starbucks haha but I love it personally especially with the rewards program they have.
I haven't tried to have coffee in coffee shops kasi nagtitipid hehehe peru siguro if i have enough okay lang din siguro magtry peru di rin kasi ako umiinom ng coffee hehehe.
I love the Starbucks planners. Their filo-style version this year looks cool and so are the details! It's something new compared to the previous years' which were bounded.
I sort of collect them every year as a Christmas gift from my siblings because they know it makes me happy to receive one yearly. I remember the 2021 planner was a seemingly unsuccessful attempt to create one for bullet journaling but I rather enjoyed it as well. I like that their planners evolve.
Do you prefer the refillable version or the paperbound?
Yeah! Looking at their previous ones, most were plain or simple which were nice too but I prefer this look. :D
I guess I like a refillable one although I don’t see myself refilling it. It’s just quite easing to know that you can just remove a page if you didn’t like it without tearing it like how you would do if it is paperbound. 🤣 Plus I also like the extra “pockets” so I can put something in there.

That is so pretty, I guess drinking 18 and more coffee from SB is so worth it din talaga. But it's pricey ata 🤧. And unfortunately, we don't have Starbucks here in our Province so I never tried drinking coffee in there. I think I would live to have that too, but as a collection lang, J will not use it. Hehw
You can also earn points with your card (different from this one) and once you get enough points you will be able to get a free drink or food. I think buying 12 drinks is enough to get you a free drink or food. It's different from the stickers to earn the planner, so whenever I purchase I will always earn more chances to get free stuff.
I think it's expensive for someone who doesn't come to Starbucks often but if you have a card and come regularly then you can benefit with those rewards. :D
