Imagination : Dreams Vs Real Life
By: @crstypatata

Even though were poor back then, I was still a child having dreams. I always have dreams of a happy family, a family doesn't fight and doesn't hurt my mom.
Dreams vs Reality: How My Dream Job Changed Over Time #YungAkalaKo
By: @revlat35

When I was a kid, I didn’t really know what my dream job was. Instead, it was my mom who instilled in me the idea of following in the footsteps of our accomplished neighbor, Kuya Gorio. He was an intelligent student who took up Accountancy, became an accountant, and later pursued Law to become a CPA-lawyer. He was such a high achiever that I looked up to him, and my mom often held him up as an example for me to emulate. At that time, as a child with no clear direction, it became ingrained in my mind that I should follow his path. That’s why my dream job as a child was to become a CPA-Lawyer someday.
Perfect on the Outside, Heavy on the Inside [Ilocano/English Sub]

The kind of house I wanted when I was a child was one with a second floor. I guess I was just influenced by the dramas I used to watch on TV. But now, my dream house has changed, because I’ve experienced cleaning inside a house and realized how tiring it actually is. That’s why what I want now is similar to my grandparents’ house. I just want a single-story house with two rooms. Nothing too luxurious or flashy that would show off wealth—just something simple, with a sense of space and freedom.
Dream versus reality: “The house in my mind”
By: @gertu

When I reached the age of dreaming, I began to create in my mind the house I would like to live in, of course, when I no longer had work commitments.
That's how a supposed friend offered me a place near the sea, with enough land to build my dream house and garden. I started investing in it. What I didn't know was that my friend had kept the best part of the information to herself.
Behind the Pulpit

Never have I imagined that I would be serving people, not from space, not from a laboratory, not from the skies, and not from Malacanan Palace, but from the humblest place I know. The church. God called me as a minister. I am currently serving as a Christian Education Pastor, teaching, preaching, and writing Bible-based lessons and materials.
Dream Vs Reality: Medico-legal Turned Online ESL Teacher

That was my childhood dream. However, studying either law or medicine requires a significant amount of time and financial investment. I had the former, but not the latter. haha
Dream vs. Reality: I Thought a Wallet That Never Ran Out of Money Was Possible, But How Wrong I Was!
By: @ruffatotmeee

Seriously, my imagination till now is still as wide as I was as a kid. Until now, I still imagine myself winning in a lottery and living the life I wished I had before. It's fun having an imagination like this, it helps me cope with whatever bad situation I am in. And with my imagination as a kid, I thought I would be able to make even one dream come true today. Although I am living comfortably right now and I can eat three meals a day, still, it's far from what I pictured myself as an adult when I was just a kid.
Dream HOME? Finally had it.
By: @lhes

Our Mom couldn't go to Iloilo to sell, no income, no food. Not only that but we are nestled in an area of the house that is dry. Free from leaks of rain water. The problem was, it was too small, crowded for a family of ten.
That is why, it's been my dream to live in a decent home. In which, I could peacefully sleep even if there is a typhoon and won't run out of food.
Dream vs Reality #YungAkalako
By: @fairysvlog

My dream financial status was never about wealth or luxury. I only hoped for stability — to live comfortably, to take care of my health without worry, and to face my later years with a sense of security. I imagined reaching this age with some savings, something set aside for medical needs, and the thought that the future would be a little more certain.
