Optimism in Hive.
Hello everyone. I hope that you are all doing well. The price of our beloved Hive is currently at the $0.11 to $0.13 levels so I thought that it might be a good time to power up from the liquid Hive that I currently have in my wallet. It's a gamble. I know. We might be seeing lower Hive prices in the near future, but I don't really think this is then end of the token. In fact, I believe that the price is going up at some point in time. And whether it's in a few weeks or a few years, I know that we (by this I mean me and some of my friends from the Philippines) will still be here, uploading blogs and interacting with fellow Hiveans because Hive is the best Web 3.0 blogging platform community today.
So, for today's power up I staked 49.129 Hive, which added on to my new HP total of 5,757.721. For context, my 2025 goal was to reach 5,000. It's amazing that I was able to reach and even exceed this given that I have not really been actively blogging. Things have a way of sorting themselves out even if it is not what we had planned and luck has a way of inserting itself into our lives no matter if we believe it or not.
Faith in Hive
Yes, this is a double edged sword. I have faith in this blockchain because it has been in existence for a long time. There are problems and issues that emerge from time to time preventing it from becoming one of the top blockchains in the world, but I don't mind. I believe that some of the more fundamental issues preventing Hive from soaring to greater heights will be resolved soon enough so I am still here. Of course, it doesn't prevent me from indulging in other blockchains and investing there also. And that is the beauty of the cryptocurrency world, there are a plethora of choices where we can jump in and explore, invest in and achieve our goals. Profit is a byproduct of the choices we make and the success we reach is bound only by our imagination.
Finally
I have decided that my goal for 2026 will be 10,000 HP. This will be double my 2025 goal, but it's still a small goal if I am being honest. This doesn't move the needle in the sense that I can support my family with it, but I believe that it is by doing this that I am moving faster in the right direction already. A big HP will help earn more Hive through curation and delegation rewards. While staking APR is now at 3.44%, which is really good. The bigger the HP, the bigger rewards and influence on the blockchain.

Most of my Hive is delegated to hivephilippines, so delegation rewards, I also get staking reward from Hive Engine tokens and liquidity pools, I think I've earned a few from trading on HE. What else?
