It feels like a holy week
Happy faces nowhere to see
Eyes view are unreachable
Yet, I'm in a closed room
Streets are empty
Just like my stomach
Prohibits every party
What's this cry of agony
It's pleasant to be with family
Though, I hate it like this
One of us for sure will die
Nothing is on the table
Restriction of actions
Preventing what to do
Threatening every life
Where is a safe place
Not the virus is terrifying
The hunger for food
The eagerness to go to
That anxiety to kill
Is this worth living for
I feel no happiness
I sense no freedom
Today's crazy world
