Hello, pretty Hivers all around the world! Each one of us has beautiful stories to tell and remarkable memories to show. This time, I’m gonna share with you the adventures of our mother at the age of seniority. It is such a good blessing to have seen her capable of traveling from Cebu to Bicol Region.
I couldn't imagine if I can be like her in the future knowing that at my age now, I already have all the back pains, difficulties in my eyesight, and slowly losing my strength. How lucky I would be if I can be like her being able and capable until now and is reaching the age of 81.
Feels like relieved
Her smile makes our hearts smile too. What a contagious genuine smile.
Death is inevitable. It was last November 16, 2016, when our father left us. This was a heartbreaking reality but being practical to death is one of the keys to lessening the pain that we have felt inside. We all knew that our mother was ready for that moment since she was very close to God. Everything that happened was for a reason. We can easily conclude that our mother was okay, and she entrusted everything to Him.
A year after our father passed away, my brother who is residing in Camarines Sur invited her for a short vacation in their hometown. This was one of the ways of diverting all the sadness that she might be feeling after the loss of our beloved father. Without any doubt, she accepted the invitation and stay there for a few days.
Her short stay at my brother’s house was full of joy. From gloomy days to happy moments. Nothing can equal the genuine smile of our mother. It was a great accomplishment seeing her happy and contented.
The sacred place she likes to visit
Our mother is religious. Her love and devotion to God are never fading since our childhood. I can still remember how heartily she offers her prayers to God every night until this time. During her stay there, it was her will to visit the holy churches in their place. This will surely make her glad and fulfilled. We know how deep is her commitment to God. Her immense love and trust in Him are immeasurable.

Stepping on a holy a place like this was what our mother dreamt of. She will be more ignited to go out if the iterinaries are the different churches. She asked nothing from us but to visit sacred places where she can say her fervent prayers. These were granted and offered to her to make her happy and fulfilled.
After all the hard work and sacrifices that our mother had been through, it was payback time for her. These are not enough to pay for all the never fading love and efforts being shown to us. Today, we are what we are in our successful life because of her and our ever dear late father. We owe everything to them.
Exploring Bicol Region
Mayon Volcano in Albay is famous worldwide for its perfect cone. The next spot she visited fits her because for us she's like the Mayon Volcano perfect in shape and our mother is perfectly designed by God for us.
What a heart desires, once given will be fulfilling. The pictures were the best evidence that there were great experiences and satisfaction for our mother. It cannot be denied as seen on her face. She deserves all these. These are not enough yet.
The surprises from Bicol to Cebu
We Filipinos are fond of giving some surprise presents or the pasalubong if we came from a long journey. It made us happy to see our loved ones receive the items from other places. For us, these stuffs are uncommon and different from our own. Since a mother’s love is true, she bought something for her beloved family left at home, who were all excited about her return and will delight us all.
These moments are to be treasured forever. The happiness brought by the bond between our mother and our brother was pretty amazing. No distance is too far for a mother's love.
We got a happy heart seeing a mother’s authentic smile. These memories will mark another milestone in our lives. It is worth sharing.
