Monday morning, I was called by my uncle and informed to prepare already because he would fetch me in an hour from the house. He and my auntie were going to the city, and I had a plan to go there also because I had to report to the CNU Main campus for submission of my documents for the scholarship grant distribution. This is the third time I visited the main campus of Cebu Normal University, which is always for the same reason. Fortunately, Uncle Gary and Auntie Anne invited me to go with them and ride in their personal vehicle so the transportation would be smooth for me and so that they could ensure I was okay when I got there.

After four hours and a half of travel, I arrived on the campus of CNU Main with no company because my other batchmates were still on their way. I did not ride with them because I wanted to make sure I arrived early so I wouldn't miss my schedule, and they kind of have this habit of getting late regardless of how important or not the situation is. For me, that attitude will not take me to my dream, but it is their lives, so the only thing I should do is not do the same. I then submitted my documents, which only took me 15 minutes to finish because there were few students by that time so the process was smooth.

My auntie told me they would go back to the province by 7 at night, and if I could still wait after my date with my close friend, I could have a ride with them. After finishing my business on the campus, my next stop was SM City Consolacion to meet my friend there and spend time. I spent my remaining seven hours in the SM with my friend and a little stroll around.

Whilst waiting for my friend's arrival, I roamed around and scanned some products to see if there was something I could buy. These two captured my attention: clocks with butterflies on each number and some sea products and designs. I enjoyed looking at this part, especially the clock, because the butterflies gave me an aesthetic and cute impression.

I saw my friend after, but I was shocked she had some people with her and told me they would join lunch and that they were just some schoolmates in high school and found each other outside SM. It was not a problem for me because I guess they should be having time, and it was only an hour that they joined us and left, so me and my friend enjoyed the rest of the time. My friend knows what I am doing, and if ever she sees her face in my blog she would kill me.

After eating and conversing, I bought donuts from Dunkin because my family, especially my niece, likes eating donuts at night. It was night when I came back home, so the timing was perfect. They ate it and enjoyed every bit of the donuts, with some juice on the table.

When I was buying a donut earlier, this screen flashed a commercial of Byeon Woo Seok, one of my favorite Korean actors, who looked so handsome on the screen. I almost forgot my purpose there, why I fell in line, and thought I was there for some K-drama clips. So cuteee Wooe Seok(^^)

We strolled a bit before going out, and I realized how big this mall is. No wonder people flock here every day because almost everything is here already; everything on your list can be checked here—grocery, kitchenware, clothes, fast food, and many more.

Then we got out of the mall when my uncle called me that they were already outside. The name on the building was lit up and it was wonderful to see it. It felt like the perfect closing image for a long day that started with responsibilities and ended with small joys. Moments like this remind me that even on the busiest weeks, there is still space for simple memories. And as I rode home with my uncle and auntie, I felt grateful for the smooth trip, the company of a friend, and the little stories that make my days worth sharing.

I ate this fruit salad when I got home whole my family ate the donut. Such a long long dayyy.

STOPI like how your day stayed busy but still had those soft, simple moments that made everything feel lighter. Sometimes the small things really make the day better 👌
Smaller things always make good happenings. That's what I love about it.
