Tired and Expectant a Short Glimpse on What Happened this September.

It was a fun ride indeed glad that this month's coming to an end.

This month has been one of the most stressful months that I had encountered so far this year. May it be work and finances, and I think if it is possible to just do a time skip I will do that to jump into next month or maybe the end of the month.

Work

My job usually revolves around managing and reconciling accounting books for an insurance campaign. In every quarter we have a certain goal that needs to be completed. If in case we are not able to meet the said goal in that quarter, the company will need to pay for some statutory penalties which no one wants to for sure so each one of us is required to do more stuff in that way we can clean our books prior to month-end.

This is not an easy task, as we have had some issues with the system over the past months, and each time that I will be requesting for an update with the coding it always runs down into an error and gets delayed and delayed. I hate doing phone calls but I end up using my phone more than ever this month as Renewals are also done previously.

Aside from that is the mid-year rating review, so far I am doing an okay job. Not a performer but not also a dead weight. So when we got the letter for the incentive that will be released this month-end I am not that disappointed with what I will get, but rather grateful that I still had some as they mentioned that the company went into some financial loss and they need to move some processes to India for a cheaper cost.

The company also issued some mental health rest day on September 30th thus my excitement for the end of September skyrocketed. Imagine, receiving your salary + incentive and it is also an added rest day, what more could I ask right?

Finances

When we thought that we are okay with our finances this month, we thought wrongly. We are supposed to save more this time but apparently, something come up that drained our expenses.

Dyn-Dyn got sick Thursday the 15th, and she only got better last Saturday the 24th. Aside from her, I also got sick too. I think that it was me who was spreading the virus as I was sick on Wednesday night but still working as usual. After drinking some medications for the cold and taking some early rest I felt better but still have a runny nose on the side.

If you are an old guy, health isn't that much of a worry. A tablet or pill can usually fix the issues but not with a baby. We went back and forth to the hospital and clinic as we are not getting any good results/answers to what my daughter is going through. She had a fever thus blood check and platelet count were required. Luckily, such tests were covered by our healthcare from the first doctor, however, since we are living in a quite remote area travel expenses are not that cheap. We are also asked to buy some medicines that the day after we did not use as we went to see another physician.

Unsatisfied with the findings and recommendation by the first one, the next day we went to another doctor and said our concerns as Dyn-Dyn's not eating nor drinking anymore. She had some canker sores (singaw) which were not addressed by the first doctor. So we were advised to give her some cold foods in the meantime until she got healed and continue on what we are doing an antibiotic was also prescribed and so far it worked.

Those trips to the doctor and medication aren't cheap. The funds that we are supposed to save went immediately to those expenses but there's nothing to do about it anymore I am just waiting for the salary to hit my bank account at the end of the month.

Sort:

Yeah right once getting older, a tablet of medicine plus sleep is ok but for a baby?

Totoo to!

But still, as a young man like me, I do admire you in your work and your dedication, especially toward your family. I learned a lot of things from others' experiences, for it was the natural world that rotates, not the fictional world we always look at on TV—hoping that next month will be better, more healing, and more times of joy. Uwuuu, Christmas is near to come.

Hoping all the best bro.

Some points shown on TV are somehow the same but exaggerated perhaps.

I am in the same shoes as you are! I do get some insights from the aged people around me back then listening to their stories and wisdom. I am not sure if everything was applied hahaha.

Christmas yeah another reason to celebrate.

I've pictured in my mind what happened to your blog kuya TP. It's easier to read, but I know it's more than that. There are times that we cannot expect things will turn around the way we expected it will be. I felt your extreme desire to just rest and embrace the tranquility of life.

I hope Dyn-Dyn will be okay and heal faster. A child's sickness is the parent's weakness. You cannot eat or sleep well knowing your child is not having a good time. Thus, yeah, adulting hits different to me as well. A lot changed.

HAHAHA nako so trueee dami ganap sa background this month, pero sympre not to be shared na sa Hive parang glimpse lang sya on what is going on. Minsan I need to rest or probably maglinis ng bahay kahit malinis na (this is theraphy sa akin)

Medyo okay na sya now. Nako ang kulit na ulit, but she cannot go outside due to rains. Muddy parin ang lugar gawa nang ulan.

When you become a parent, child's health is your concern above yourself. We felt so sad and worried if they got sick. Go @tpkidkai laban lang tayo sa life.

Sa true, I am always been amazed on how I am progressing so far with the parenthood journey. Sympre may mga failures parin on the side.

Good thing there's Hive that is helping out with the expenses din kaya making tulong talaga ng grind.

Laban lang talaga tayo sa buhayy.

Yes grind lang ng grind because it really helps.

Parenthood is unending learning din kasi we are learning everyday. More power to us parents.

Health is wealth. I am amazed how good father you are sa iyong mga anak. Iba pag may nagkasakit talaga lalo sa family. Although wala pa akong anak but i felt yung care mo para sa kanya, ganiyan talaga ang isang ama. isasakripisyo lahat para sa kanyang anak, Praying for your fast recovery and to your family as well @tpkidkai . Okay lang mapagod basta walang susuko! all your hardwork will pay off.
