Este Miércoles 29 de Junio del año 2022, Deportivo Táchira Fútbol Club en presentación de Venezuela y Santos Futebol Clube, de Brasil, se enfrentaron en el partido de ida de los octavos de final de la Copa Sudamericana, en el Estadio Polideportivo de Pueblo Nuevo, con el arbitraje del Boliviano Gery Vargas, de 41 años de edad.
Encuentro con total dominio para el conjunto de casa, quien en los primeros 45' minutos fue más que su rival, llegando en reiteradas ocasiones al arco del guardameta, João Paulo.
Una primera etapa que concluyo con victoria parcialmente del elenco aurinegro por uno a cero.
Luego, en la segunda etapa, todo cambiaria y con algunas variantes, los dirigidos por Fabián Bustos le hicieron daño a los de Alexandré Pallarés, anotando al 86' el gol del empate, que a la postre, termino siendo el tanto que sellaría el encuentro con igualad.
This Wednesday, June 29, 2022, Deportivo Táchira Fútbol Club of Venezuela and Santos Futebol Clube, of Brazil, faced each other in the first leg of the round of 16 of the Copa Sudamericana, at the Polideportivo de Pueblo Nuevo Stadium, with the referee of Bolivian Gery Vargas, 41 years old.
In the first 45 minutes, the home team dominated the match and outplayed its rival, repeatedly reaching goalkeeper João Paulo's goal.
A first stage that ended with a partial victory of the aurinegro team by one to zero.
Then, in the second half, everything changed and with some changes, Fabián Bustos' team hurt Alexandré Pallarés' team, scoring the equalizer at 86', which in the end was the goal that would seal the match with a draw.
