Hello to all my dear Hive Blog❤️ readers, especially my Full Sports community.
On this occasion I would like to share with you a little of how it was my bike ride to my university🏛️🚴♀️ and the accident I had with it🔧🧰, I will share a practical way to solve the lack of a tool to change a rubber 🤔💡 and some reflections regarding sport and cycling🚲🔥💯.
I hope you enjoy it and can take something from here today for you today, a hug.
...
This tour I did on April 18 with the intention of moving to my university to enroll in my psychology classes, since the bike more than my sport💪🏋️♀️🦵 is my means of transport many times (and it is great because it gives you health🩺, does not contribute to pollution🌎 and gives you independence📈);
But well the thing is that I left the lemon early to do my things by the way of Turmero 📍 and I took my bike route to go faster and take advantage simultaneously to train a little on the way🛣️.
After the uni I was going to pass through Cagua that day⛅, a few kilometers away from there, however the life of my back wheel had other plans for me🤦♀️ ;
Well, when I approached the bike I realized that it was totally deflated... And the worst thing is that that day to leave in a hurry I had left all my tools of change in the house🏠.
So I had two options... Ask for reinforcements or walk to my house 🚶♀️which was about 16 kilometers away😅
And well it is obvious that I chose the first🤣🤣 one, after thinking who to call I remembered that my friend Marcos and his father Rafael (my cycling friends) lived near the university, I called them and in a short time they were already there supporting me🤝.
They carried several tools to repair the rubber damage but they lacked some levers that serve to remove rubber from the rhine of the bike☹️, however they managed using the wheel needle as a lever😮;
When we saw well the gut had a tremendous hole because "it had been bitten" as they say ... But we also set out to remedy it💡.
It was a salvation that my friends came for me to help me😅 and what stuck in my mind after this is that first I always have to go out with my repair kit or a spare🚲 gut and second that it is very good to know that cycling leaves you great friends who are for you in the small🧰🔧🤕 failures;
I already know how to change a rubber and place a patch but it was through observation this learning*, the theory is easy because the first thing you have to do is carefully use the levers to remove the rubber from the rhine, examine it to see if it🔍 does not have wires or glasses that have caused the spigot and then take the gut, find the hole, mark it, sand it, place the glue🚲 (wait for it to dry a little) and then place the patch with a little pressure and let it do its magic and then put everything in place.
That day I did 29 kilometers recorded with my Strava📲 app and went at a quiet pace of 23 kilometers🕕🏎️ per hour because I was bumpy.
🚴♀️🤣📲🕕🏎️🧰🤕⚙️😅💡🔧🔍🚲🌎🩺🦵
This is also a reminder to people who go out to roll without their spare gut, please always take your tools with you as you never know when you will need them.
And start meeting people you can count on in a situation like this, because from them you learn and then you can be the one who helps someone else on the road, it is the spirit of the good athlete and good cyclist.
🚴♀️🤣📲🕕🏎️🧰🤕⚙️😅💡🔧🔍🚲🌎🩺🦵
