Para marco el dortmund es el equipo de su vida, el amor que siente por su escudo ha sido tanto que jamás lo ha abandonado, aunque su historia a nivel deportivo no ha Sido precisamente la mejor, algunos jugadores tienen mucho talento pero desgraciadamente la suerte también juega un factor importante en la vida.

Reus es la pieza menos recordada del gran tridente del Dortmund en 2013 junto con Lewa y Gotze. Lewa se convirtió en uno de los mejores del mundo, y Gotze tuvo su momento de gloria en el gol de la final del mundial 2014, pero Reus, por cosas de la vida, nunca pudo disfrutar de ese tipo de glorias. Un jugador buenísimo pero condicionado por las lesiones. Su amistad con Lewa eran tan buena que incluso como rivales se hacían gestos en la cancha y se ponían emocionales, mira esta vídeo :'D
