La dirección de una franquicia siempre ha formado parte de una de las tareas más difíciles en todo los deportes. No es fácil saber que la decisión que tomes influirá en el crecimiento o decrecimiento de tu equipo de aquí a una determinada cantidad de años, ya sean 10, sean 20 o sean 40 años y que todo el resultado de esas decisiones recaerá su peso sobre ti en una gran manera.

En la época actual que comprende la anterior y vigente década hemos tenido a un GM que supo cumplir la reconstrucción necesaria que necesitó el equipo, supo que jugadores draftear, cuales adquirir como el caso de Kevin Garnett y de que jugadores deshacerse. El GM del que les hablo es Danny Ainge, presente desde el 2003 hasta la actualidad, alguien que ha hecho cambios inteligentes y supo cuando retroceder cuando el equipo pedía una reestructuración como fue el caso con el Big 4 de Pierce-Rondo-Garnett-Allen.
In the current era that includes the previous and current decade we have had a GM who knew how to fulfill the necessary reconstruction that the team needed, knew which players to draft, which ones to acquire as in the case of Kevin Garnett, and which players to get rid of. I can say that Ainge has taken Boston to a great level, he has made moves worthy of applause, such as trading Pierce and Garnett for Brooklyn's infinite number of first-rounders that resulted in future top draft picks and that slew of players that were added in the trade. It is no surprise to anyone that Boston is going through a very bad time, since the last playoffs against Miami and even in the last games against Toronto it was seen that Boston had many shortcomings in their game that made them look like a not solid team at all. It was factors like poor rotation, lack of a solid bench to back up the team, and lack of big men to control the perimeter in the small area that has Boston in their current situation.

Como movimientos que en mi opinión deberían hacerse pienso que lo primero que necesita Boston es una reformación del equipo, buscarle dar más solidez a la banca, empezar desde los cimientos es importante y una banca es la estructura central de todo equipo.

Adicional a esto creo que es hora de empezar a construir un equipo letal que dé miedo, Boston tiene en los puestos de Alero/escolta y Ala-pivot un puesto cubierto seguro, Jaylen y Jayson no fallan en ese apartado pero creo que es hora de armar un Big 3 que permita dar el miedo que necesita Boston ante cualquier otro equipo, como inclusión pensaría en Bradley Beal, es perfecto para incorporarlo ya sabemos que es el mejor amigo de Jayson Tatum prácticamente son como hermanos y siempre que ha enfrentado a Boston ha dejado buena química con varios de los muchachos, sería una perfecta inclusión al equipo haciendo buena química. El problema de esta alternativa sería que para hacer un cambio por Beal necesitaríamos soltar bastante, lo más probable es que Washington pida por Beal a Jaylen Brown trade for trade o a Marcus Smart adicional a varios jugadores, no sé qué tan rentable sería esta opción y si se hace ya sería otra apuesta de cara a un presente.

Hoy en día Boston enfrenta una situación horrible en la que pendían de un hilo para poder entrar a playoffs para ganar sus últimos 7 juegos de los cuales llevan 4 perdidos y 2 ganados, aún el futuro es incierto pero viéndolo así no pinta bien con la lesión del resto de la temporada de Jaylen Brown.
Anyway, I think these are the changes that Boston needs in my opinion, there are still many corrections to be made but we can still rely on a good project for the present and the future. Cuando era joven era uno de mis deportes preferidos. Hace un poco de años. Me resulta intersante porque muchas veces es responsabilidad del entrenador darse cuenta de las fallas y poner correctivos a tiempo.
